My Mermaid Friend!

Deep under the sea

As I saw the fish passing by

I suddenly saw a Mermaid

With a gleam in her eye!

Oh! she quickly swam away!

So fast that

I couldn't get a a moment to sway!

Behind her I swam

As swiftly as I could

And finally got a glimpse of her so good!

She was amazingly pretty

I wanted to know if she was also witty!

She wore a tiara glittering as gold

Unlike little Red Riding hood!

Her hair so jet black and straight

Her smile so perfect

Just to match her face bright!

Oh! How could I thank her!

Oh! how could I thank her!

She taught me to jump with Dolphins

Glide under Whale fins

Swim under the water current

And long for this dreamy experience to be recurrent!

We held hands together

My legs and her tail moved in rhythm!

We swam across the ocean

With a heart full of twinkling emotion!

We dived deep under

And found a tiny treasure chest!

Inside of it was

Two sparkling friendship rings

Embedded with a shiny diamond crest!
