Zoan, The Alien

He saw the light at the end of the tunnel and kept running as fast as he could. Once he reached the end, he saw the examiner waiting for him.

"5 minutes and 20 seconds. Not bad Alan!!!" said the examiner. Alan was one of the many Zoans in the Imposter School. The Zoans are a race of aliens who look like humans. Alan was giving his final examination which consisted of 3 stages. He has already passed the first two with ease and now it was time for the final phase.

In this phase, he had to get on board a spaceship along with humans successfully without getting caught. He had vents with him, which he could use. Usually only trained Zoans were capable of accomplishing this feat. Now, he could also sabotage a few things on the spaceship which if not fixed, could also cause the ship to explode. The special ability of the Zoans was that they could survive in outer space.

It was time for the test and he was dropped off at the launchpad with a fake ID and the e-sabotage device invented by the Zoan scientist, Albert Friedbrain.

Alan boarded the ship along with the humans. He had already memorized the layout of the spaceship and also remembered the tasks given to him by the spaceship captain so that he could act like a real crewmate and none could doubt him.

Everyone was allotted a codename based on the color of the suit they were wearing. Alan's was 'cyan'.

Soon, everyone dispersed to do their allotted tasks. Alan sabotaged the lights and managed to kill 2 of the 10 crewmates and he hid their bodies.

Once the lights got fixed, Alan decided to stick around with everyone for a while and do his allotted task.

The crewmate 'black' called an urgent meeting when he discovered the dead bodies. This caught everyone by surprise and the captain said, "Be careful! I fear we have an imposter amongst us."

Everyone, again dispersed to do their tasks. Alan then triggered a reactor meltdown and killed 4 more crewmates.

Now there were 4 more to go. Alan next successfully used the vents to kill another 2 of them in navigation.

Now, he only had to kill one more to pass the examination. He quickly sabotaged the oxygen supply, went after crewmate 'red', and ripped him apart.

He walked over to the captain and said, "It's time." The captain thus had to surrender.

Alan thus successfully passed the final tests and became one of the thousands of imposters in the zoan race.
