Will I ever be free from being a slave?

Education gave me wings to fly. I appreciate it to the core of my heart. I appreciate vision of my parents(note only battle fought by my mom) that have given this vision to see beyond the horizon.

I created a world of wonders on how I aspire to grow. To be able to live one's best potential. To be able to contribute and make a mark.

But wait, how about post giving the vision, you are blind folded. Well, how dank would it feel. You are willing to see the beauty you used to. You want to wander but now you can only wonder.

Wonder the things you were supposed to see. They said you can climb the mountain and swim across the ocean. They said you can create your own artform, be iconic among people. They even said I could inspire beings and that would be the ultimate level of being.

But when the time came, they caged me.

Goodness! They didn't clip my wings. They caged me. It would have been better if they would have clipped my wings.

At least, all these castles of dreams which I build up wouldn't have been the reason to hurt me.

Now I breathe, but I don't live. Death is a better punishment than life imprisonment.

I rest my case here. I can only vouch, I will work hard enough so that my daughter wouldn't have to go through the same.

Well, my mother did the same. I love my mother, she is my role model.

But to end up being like my mother is our (me and my mother's) worst fear.
