Paradox of passion

A short string of words to convey the paradox is scripted below. 

What a strange thing is financial independence, I wonder. 

Some people lose their passion cause they have mouths to feed and dependents to be cared for. 

Some are so much endowed, that inspiration to create or strive for something new is missing. 

Some are living on the edge of a cliff, sapped out of all the energy to be able to create something new. 

Some lay on couch sapped out too. 

The stories of success that people sing is something I have started to fear. 

Whether passion comes first or profession? 

For people who sing the success stories, claim they got what they dreamt of as a child. Resilience and hardworking it shows. 

While others were trying to make a living and ended up doing something great, which has the capacity to influence a million lives. 

Well, on a side note, influencing million of lives doesn't need to be an achievement. 

The ISIS also does that. 

The Artiste claim it the most. 

The one baring the body also shares the same toast. 

Never mind, till it brings

Financial independence a. K. a ability to make choice a. K. a ability to live life on your own terms. 

Well, as far as you get that. 

You are definitely a success. 

I'm not saying so. 

This is how it is generally perceived in society. 

Strange! 

What is society? We only constitute that. 

So, maybe a part of me definitely thinks so.
