Why Hide Behind Abbreviations?

Why Hide Behind Abbreviations?

A lot of weeks, a lot of days, and a billion seconds have offered you innumerable good-bye kisses now. You seem too indifferent to not worry. What is that you're hiding so expertisingly? Is that the no of days you've learnt to stay shut, completely shut or soft-spoken to the people you meet randomly and act like you're made up of plastic?

Abbreviations are nothing except a mask to the complete words, a shield to the measurement of how much intensity a word carries in it and more than that, a complete end to a full of life conversations. I never seem to like the short forms ever, it kills the load of necessity. Your whatsapp texts are full of 'k's rather than 'okay's, why do you need to hide your emotions behind the backspaces you use and why do your tears unknowing fall when you're tired of 'I can't bear it anymore' ? And in case you can't carry out the loads your shoulder have bounded up with it, why are you even stuck with incomplete texts? Isn't it killing you more from inside?

Let them go, stop going back to the lanes of the creased forehead and premature death of your mind. You pretend to be okay with abbreviations but all it does, none other than coming back in the form of pain loaded entities. Either get rid of them, or stop using them. If you are strong enough, use complete words which still has an existence ending into a complete sentence and that sentence destined to portray a true state of yourself. Now, you should be worried about those good-byes, not about dwelling in abbreviations of 'k' s. You missed all of it since past. Biting nails won't make it right anymore . I take a deep sigh of relief now that you realised how importantly you need to take a break from all of this 'hide and seek' and more importantly you realised!

At last you've jumped up from the couch and shook off your shoulders. Now you're fresh, fresh with no hidden words, letting go of all the tantrums; you're free and free to start a walk with no abbreviations to hug you in between!
