What's Your Normal Life?

It’s been third week since now that I had kind of self-house arrested myself. I was just thinking about how cool it was that day life I was living the life so normal.

Five weeks ago, the first coronavirus case was confirmed in India that had already widespread around the world. Those earlier days had chaotic traffic, monsoon rains and curries every day. There were schools and offices running. People were rushing in the metros; vendors were selling on local trains and marketplaces. Families enjoying theaters and kids enjoying parks. Couples holding hand to hand and walking endlessly in gardens.

But today my normal life is totally different. I have been working for home for past three weeks. I had hardly commute to anyone face to face. People having their kids are more worried. Parents cannot hug their kids. I don’t meet my friends. Couples couldn’t walk hand to hand together. Travelling is riskier than difficult. Schools and colleges are shut down. Parks and theatres feel abandoned.

And somehow thorough a series of restricted changes, my normal life changed. Some changes I had already adapted, and some changes are yet to be adapted. Somehow, I am building myself ready for what I wasn’t.

Both are a hundred percent part of my story; both must be lived. Sometimes when we’re in-between bits, it feels difficult, challenging and yucky, but it changes us little by little. I know even right now I am thinking about applying some sanitizer in my hand though I am sitting at the same position for long while. So, things are changing and my normal life few weeks later will have evolved and it will be totally different.

Tell me, what’s your normal life looks like? Had it changed recently?
