I got up abruptly gasping for breath, my head almost bent down touching my chest my mother-in-law came running and hugged me. I could hear her saying - everything is fine beta you gotta rest, she rested my head on the pillow.

After a week I was discharged from the hospital, I knew bad news was waiting for me. My husband Mehek was dead, we had met with an accident. It was unfortunate that I survived I wish I was gone with him too.

My heart was heavy with grief yet my eyes were dry. I wanted to scream out loud but my lips remained silent. I just sat looking at the lake, I visited our favourite spot. This time I was alone !! I had lost him forever.

Soon, everything turned out to be dark in the distance I saw a dark shadow approaching I started screaming - it was like I was paralysed. As the dark shadow approached I could identify that it was Mehek... Mehh...Mehek I love you too wh..why did you leave me Mehekk? I collapsed. I saw a grinning smile on his face. I have come to take you Meher, you spoilt all my plan, I am in your place Meher, you missed out, now no one can save you - he screamed.

I lost consciousness...when I opened my eyes I was in my house, my mother-in-law was weeping. I have lost my son I can't lose you too dear, she hugged me. What happened maa... I was at the lake when did I return? You are in your dreams beta, please come out of your hallucination, he is gone beta understand, he is no more. she shouted hugging me.

I put on my dupatta and was about to leave the room. I heard the sound of breathing. Somebody grinning and panting in pain as I looked above me, up the ceiling - I saw Mehek..!!!! He was crawling around the wall.
