                                CHAPTER 2 - What was that?

Of course, Mal woke up first and brushed her teeth. She went downstairs and waited for Leena.

Leena's POV

Dring, dring, dring and dring! This alarm clock! I got up and switched off the alarm. I did my morning chores and changed into comfy clothes. I went downstairs to see my lovely sister! I ran to her and hugged her, she hugged me back and wished me good morning. I sat down beside her and waited for Mo- Madam Jaxeline...

Jaxeline came with a warm and huge smile. She was nicely dressed up. White shirt with a pair of purple jeans and she was wearing light make up.

Everyone was shocked. Adamson came down and was shocked to see Jaxeline wearing slight makeup only, or else she wears blood-red lipstick. Jaxeline came to Leena and Mal and kissed their foreheads. 

Mal (whispering): She kissed your forehead for the very first time... Breaking News!!! Jaxeline AKA our mom kissed Leena's forehead for the first time!!!

Leena (chuckling): Stopp!

Jaxeline: What's so funny?

Leena: Sorry Jaxeline Madam. (while looking down)

Jaxeline: Why are you calling me madam? Call me mom, darling.

Leena: What was that? (widened eyes)

Mal gulped.

Leena: Okay Mom.

Jaxeline made toast and put blueberry jam on Mal's toast and put peanut butter (Leena's favourite) on Leena's toast. Leena's eyes widened and she gave a huge grin to Jaxeline, which she returned with a smile. 

Leena: Please, please. Please don't be a dream. (she said while licking her lips)

Mal: Will you eat your lips for breakfast ?? Eat your toast!

Leena chuckled and started eating her breakfast. After 20 minutes, everyone finished food and Leena went to her room to make her bed, she was about to enter but Adamson pulled her hand at took her to the room. 

Adamson: Woah, Woah, Woah! Where do you think you are going? Clean the dishes and wash the laundry-

Jaxeline (cutting him): What is this? Why are you making a child do work? Stop it, Adamson and I want you to do the laundry, I have done the dishes. Stop troubling my daughter. 

Adamson nodded and went. Jaxeline went to Leena and kissed her forehead.

Jaxeline: If daddy every does this again, tell me. (hugging her)

Leena (crying): Thank you, mom!

Jaxeline nodded into no problem and went. 

Leena: My life, my life is getting better! Mom has become way nicer and about dad, I'm sure he will learn it from mom. I am so glad. Thank you, god. You aren't God, you are an angel!

Mal (from the room): Sister! Come here!

Leena rushed to the room and she saw Mal with toys.

Leena: ???

Mal: Play with me.

Leena: I will, later. I have to do homework. 

Mal nodded with a frown.
