Ramdayal Babu lived in a joint family. Vimala Devi had lovingly cherished the beautiful household playing with a smile.

 Both of them were the heads of this house. If Ramdayal Babu used to arrange money for the household, then Vimala Devi used to use that money properly to brighten and enhance the house like a garden.

 "He had a small but happy family in which his son, daughter-in-law and two ,grand sons Ritvik and Satvik lived with him." The whole house used to try to make both those children civilized and educated. And used to try to give good values ​​and lessons to Ritvik and Satvik.

 "Since all the five fingers are not the same. Similarly, the nature of the two grandsons was completely different and opposite from each other."

 The age of one grandson was 9 years and the age of the other was 14 years.

 "Elder son Ritwik was thoughtless and free-thinking by nature. He was very fond of independence. He did not like spending hours outside the house, talking to friends, and he did not like restrictions at all."

 On the contrary, "Little son Satvik like name, same quality, he liked to live in the family, talk and cooperate in his own work and consult everyone while doing every work and sit and talk about wealth of knowledge with grandparents."

 Thinking of this, Ramdayal ji himself and his son Rameshwar Dayal ji often used to be worried.

 It was the month of January, the day of Makar Sankranti came, after reciting worship throughout the day, after eating sesame, jaggery,(til-laddu) prasad and dishes, the whole house came to fly kites in the big courtyard of the house. 

The kite was flying freely touching the sky at a great height. When Papa was holding the wheel of Manjha, Ritwik was flying a kite.

When Hrithik saw his kite flying high in the sky. Asked his father to relax, 

Ritwik said to the father, loosen the manja a little more.

while Satvik and Grandfather were flying kites. Keeping a balance, his kite was flying freely. 

commensurate with the speed of the wind.

 Ritvik seeing Satwik's kite, said to the Papa, Papa Satwik's kite is going up. You give me more relaxation or loose the manjhi , I have to fly my kite above his kite.

 Rameshwar Dayal ji did not accept Ritvik even after persuading and refusing lakhs and kept on relaxing.

 

The thread of the kite escaped from the wheel and the kite got out of hand. For a while the kite kept flying in the sky. After that kite fell on the ground. 

Ritvik gets disappointed. Papa, why did I miss my kite? And why is Satvik's kite flying? And came back home sad.

 Everyone also came back in the house after a while.

 Then Ramdayal ji called both his grandsons to him and asked Ritvik the reason for his displeasure. Then Ritvik told the whole thing about kite to grandfather.

 Ramdayal ji put a loving hand on Ritvik's head and explained. 

 "Human's life is also like a kite. Son! Freedom is a good thing, we should be able to fly freely without any restriction. But we should always hold a family string.

 It is the string of family's values ​​and ideals, this is the string that prevents us from going on the wrong path and keeps us tied to the family. This ideal which also gives us the courage to fly, but saves us from going on the wrong path. 

It is also that when we move towards wrong actions and wrong path, then this string reminds us when the family pulls it. This is wrong and forces us to use our own discretion

 Ritvik's son should be a kite or relationship, they should be given the same relaxation. Extra laxity, as much as it is necessary for them, is sometimes unnecessary and harmful for us.

 And why do we need additional relaxation? When we can work in our interest by being bound by our sanskars.
