'It's Autumn!'

Few wilted leaves on my face conveyed silently. But, all these years I am curiously waiting to enjoy a Spring season in my life. Unfortunately, I couldn't. My life turned more and more bitter and soon I am going to enter the next phase. Yes! From Ugly to Grotesque. Wondering isn't? 

Well, I brief. My name is Marvin. People call me Ugly and my physical appearance perfectly matches my name. They say, Don't judge a book by its cover. But, people won't. They hate my color and always throw a sarcastic or scary look at me, and they never try to explore my innocent character. I could easily predict their perception of me by their lethargic gazes. Sometimes, it hurts, especially when people start to praise and appreciate the cuteness of BB — Blue-Eyed Beauty. They always consider her face is their lucky symbol and mine is merely an evil generator. 

Blue-Eyed Beauty is her nickname. Her real name is Bella. 

Dear Creator. You are biased. I hate you. I always used to curse that personality. 

In the midst of my despair. My only bliss is 'BB'. Yes! The same Blue-Eyed beauty. I used to call her 'Beauty'. Except for prettiness, we both have got some similarities as well. We are like vagabonds. 

No proper residents and caretakers as well. At present, we are residing in an old bookshop. My owner Zara always wants Beauty to sit near the billing section, and she always wants me to stay away from her. Maybe because of the same reason lucky symbol. But, my Beauty never considered me as unlucky. She always greets me with her evergreen smile and her eyeballs always darts on me. The warmth and care in her eyes is a silent healer for my scars. I am sure, she won't hate me for what I am. 

Sometimes I wish to go down on my knee and ask, Will you be my life partner? But I couldn't. Because the fear of rejection makes me stay silent. 

"Welcome, Sir. Pleased to meet you!"  Zara greeted someone.

Welcome?! Who's that? My eyeballs shifted towards that person. 

What a surprise! It's my Creator. Author Denzel. 

"I am a big fan of your books. Especially 'Ugly Marvin' and 'Blue-Eyed Beauty', your imagination has done magic. Enjoyed it." Said Zara. 

Liar. I am pretty sure that she didn't read my life story. Every time she claims herself as an avid reader. What I could see is, she opens the book either to enjoy the smell of new books or to dust the old books. 

"Thank you," Denzel replied

"Can't wait to read your next sequel 'Grotesque'. Any updates' sir?" Zara inquired. 

"Hmm. Actually I have relinquished the thought of writing another sequel." 

"But, why?" Zara arched her eyebrows. 

Maybe he also considers me as his misfortune it seems. I muttered. 

"No. I have signed a new project. It's a web series" Told Denzel. 

"Amazing! I guess you are planning to make a series about blue-eyed beauty. Am I right sir?"

"Of course. It would be a combination of my two books 'Ugly Marvin' and 'Blue-eyed Beauty' In precis, the trending blue-eyed beauty and ugly were going to exchange their rings." 

"But, Ugly is the least liked character. Why are you pairing beauty with ugly?"

"To ward off the misinterpretations Zara."

"What do you mean?" 

"Many people are still in the misconception that impressive looks and money are the deciding factors of love. It's wrong. When it comes to love, good character and trustworthiness plays a vital role and not other things. Especially physical appearance has no role-play in it. Thus, to slash those superstitious beliefs. I have decided to make a web series." Answered Denzel. 

"You are right. Now I have understood my fault. Who is your target audience, sir?" 

"Hmm. For all age groups. Thus, it will fall under the category of general fiction Zara. Because, I like to convey a strong message to the people that, never form an opinion or conclusion about someone by their physical appearance instead judge them by their good and bad character. Hence, everyone must follow the rule called, No discrimination and no racism."

"Spoiler alert - This web series also has some subplots. Isn't it?" Zara giggled.

"Can't say more." Denzel grinned. 

Wait. What? Oh! My Creator. Thank you and sorry for yelling you. And I agree with your points. No matter whether you are beautiful or not. True love never bothers. Eventually, Spring season is going to make a debut in my life. From today, I am not a fictional character. A hero! My wish is fulfilled. 

I am curious to meet my dream girl.

"What's your web series name?" she questioned. 

"Untold story." Denzel smiled.
