Ashok is a middle aged man who runs a business in a small town. Fakir is his neighbor and owns a small retail shop.

Fakir lost his family and property in a natural disaster. Only he survived with crippled legs. But, in that locality, none seen him as a depressed or an inactive person. He somehow manages to do all the works and enjoys his moments by interacting with people, cracking jokes, playing with children. Almost all the time his shop is filled with the sounds of laughter.

One day Ashok asked him what makes him to survive with so much of confidence and strength?

He told, "When everyone lost their lives in the disaster, Why the almighty has didn't end my life? It was the question pestering in my mind for so long! Well, one fine day I found the answer for it. It's because, God wants me to support the people who are really in need of care or finance. Though I am not financially strong, from this shop's profit, I am sponsoring some amount of money for a child's education, offering food for the homeless persons and at the time of festivals I use to visit few orphanages and present dress materials and sweets to the elderly people and children. Whenever I have money I will make use of it for charity! Perhaps if I don't have, I would like to spread smiles and make others happy. That's my policy. Guess what?! It gives me immense happiness and makes me to dwell in the world of satisfaction!!"

"Don't you worry about your lost family?", Ashok questioned him. 

"Of course yes. Living with the pain is some sort of victory. Everyone meets darkness in their life. Positive thinking is a light to find the happiness in their path." , He answered.
