True Love

Covid was a testing time to all human relationships in general. We could observe turmoil, chaos and lack of understanding between couples, an untold n uncertain fear of the future n what lies ahead.

During these times, it so happened that my husband was also tested positive for covid and at that moment, I could see tears roll down his eyes. His mind was filled with immense fear and his first thought that crossed his mind was , I , as his beloved wife, being together for 24 yrs , whom he loved immensely, would leave him alone, isolated , physically, emotionally and socially as well.

But after carefully examining his often unspoken words, I remained by his side, encouraged him with words of wisdom, courage and told him that come what may, I am not going to leave him alone, for this life. Very soon he recovered and now he is absolutely healthy and he always cherishes the moments I was with him , during the time he most required.
