Treasure of Wisdom

Changu and Mangu were best friends. They did not do any work any day only time pass. Their age was 30. One day they saw a police running behind a thief. When thief said “time please” they stopped and when thief said “over” they started running. Again thief said “time please” but this time police said “no time please, come with me to the jail”. Then thief quietly took out one paper then police said “doing chori come to jail”. Thief quietly kept the paper in pocket but it fell down. Changu and Mangu were watching all this and they thought it must be a treasure map. Changu and Mangu started dancing and said we got treasure, we got treasure. When Changu and Mangu looked at paper it was written “idli competition---cross a bridge--jungle--very tall mango tree--down the tree cross--dig there you will get treasure”. Go 30 km ahead to get idli competition. Then Mangu said lets go 30km ahead but Changu said no if we go 30km ahead we will reach to beach.

Changu said, I think we should go back 10 km and ask somebody about idli competition. Then they went 10 km back and asked a person how to go to idli competition. The person told them to go 2 km ahead then take right and then go 1 km ahead then Changu said thanks. Then they went 2 km ahead then they took right turn then they went 1km straight and then big board on which “Idli competition” was written. There were two gates one was with ticket counter and other was where the people wash plates as nobody was there Changu Mangu went from second gate as it was a free entry. As they entered they hear announcement 3-2-1 go but Changu said we will not start to eat idli now we will first see how others are eating. Changu and Mangu saw a Madrasi man who was taking many idlies at a time making it into one big and putting into mouth. Then they saw a woman who was eating 1 idli and hiding 3 idlies in her sari. Then they saw a man who was eating 1 idli and putting 4 down the chair.

Changu and Mangu started eating idlies and speaker said madrasi ate 20 idlies, woman ate 14 idlies, man ate 8 idlies and Changu and Mangu on 3 idlies. Changu Mangu said look into the TV madrasi’s two idli are in mouth, everybody looked into the tv then Changu said to Mangu lets very fast pass the idlies to everybody as nobody is looking at us. After that again speaker made announcement Madrasi ate 27 idlies, woman ate 17 idlies, man ate 11 idlies and Changu Mangu ate 32 idlies. Then speaker announced time over. Judges came to participants they said madrasi your 2 idlies in mouth we will count 30 idlies, woman you are hiding idlies in your sari so we will count only 10, man why are you putting idlies down the chair we will count your 4 idlies. Then they said to Changu and Mangu you did not do any cheating so both of you are winner. You will get mobile and charger as a prize. But you are two people and one prize what to do? Mangu said dont worry I will take charger and Changu will take mobile. Then Changu and Mangu goes from there they saw map telling them to go 5km ahead to cross bridge and they went ahead and crossed the bridge then they went 1km ahead. They saw a jungle. Inside the jungle they found a big and tall mango tree, below it there was a cross. They dug there and Mangu saw the treasure box. Changu asked what must be inside it, there they saw holy books like Geeta, Ramayan, Mahabharat, Quran, Bible, Gurugranth, etc. Mangu said to Changu treasures not important. Knowledge is more important, this is “treasure of wisdom”.

From that day they both started doing good things and good work.
