Today, I got the reply from God

Teacher: Today in "BAALSABHA", every child will come on stage and tell something about her/him. First of all, I like to invite the birthday girl, Jyoti.

Jyoti: 

Hello All. My name is Jyoti Suman. I'm twelve years old.

Since the last eight years I have been writing letters to god. But for the last two years, I'm not getting any reply from God.

This is my letter to god I wrote today,  

 

" To My dearest Lord Almighty,

             I'am sure you must have recognized me. I'm Jyoti who writes letters to you. Give my regards to my mother. As my mother told me many years back that today is your birthday also."Happy Birthday to you".

'Lord Almighty, today after two years, somebody has celebrated my birthday in a grand style. I love teacher sir very much.

'Sir gave me a beautiful gift as well. Everybody complimented me in those earrings, he gifted me. Tomorrow me and him are going to the fair, where every year mother took me . I used to sit on her shoulders and enjoy the fair. The fair used to look very big from there. I used to enjoy the rides, eat cotton candies, ice-creams, pakoras.... I used to asked her to buy this and that and you know my mother says .... all this before you took her.

'I didn't receive your letter today as well.After you have called my mother to be with you.., you haven't replied to any of my letters.Now if you don't reply to me then I shall die. I know that I can meet my mother after I die. Please tell me how my mother is doing. I will wait for your letter.

Jyoti: "Teacher sir, I promised my mother. I promised her that I will never cry . Let me, just for today, Please let me cry my heart out, teacher sir."

In the evening, the postmaster came to Jyoti's house and gave a letter to her.

My dear Jyoti,

Accept lots and lots and lots of Love. I'm your Lord Almighty. The world kept your Lord Almighty busy. That is the reason I couldn't reply to you. Now I shall reply to all your letters, old as well as new.

'Jyoti Beta your mother is very happy, and yes, we too celebrated your birthday here. All the angels attended it, they danced, we all sang the song your mother used to sang for you every night. We had cut your favorite cake and everyone sang the "Happy Birthday To You, Happy Birthday dear Jyoti" song.

'Your mother was very happy, Dear. But all of us and your mother are very upset with you. You shouldn't stay sad, My Love. Your mother becomes very sad when she sees that you are sad. You should smile, when she sees you smile, your mother also smiles. Your mother watches everything that you do down there. You should not worry about your mother. Lots and lots and lots and lots of love from your mother.

Jyoti looked at the sky and gave a flying kiss towards stars, said, "Love you Almighty, Love you Mummy." 

The teacher hiding behind the tree was hiding his tears with his smile.
