Those Simple Joys

Sasha was a very simple girl. She always wanted to complete a day with only the simple joys of life. Today she was going to do that. She woke up in the morning at 8:00 am and made herself her favorite coffee. And the first sip was ecstatic. Today was Saturday and she had no college. Then she went and had a warm bath and did her skincare. Afterwards, she went for a walk, grabbed her AirPods, and played her favorite song while walking. And indeed, it was the right time and place to play that song. Then she went back home and had her lunch. In the evening, she sat near the window where her table was, lit a lavender-fragranced candle, and started writing her journal. After she finished writing, her mom said, "Sasha, please take out the clothes from the dryer." At the end of the day, she treated herself to dinner in a fancy restaurant and her favorite hot fudge sundae. It didn't end yet; at night when she went to sleep, it started raining. And the fragrance and the sound of rain completed her day.
