ACT I

Scene 1 – Shankar Arrives in Kuldhara

(Setting: Early morning. Kuldhara village road. Shankar walks with a suitcase.)

Shankar: (looking around) After so many years… this village still feels the same.

Ramlal: (entering) Shankar! My son!

Shankar: Papa! (hugs him)

Ramlal: How was London?

Shankar: Busy… different… but not like home.

Sunita: (entering) Shankar, my child!

Shankar: Amma! (touches her feet)

Sunita: Come home. Breakfast is ready.

Shankar: (smiling) I missed home more than anything.

Scene 2 – Friends Reunite

(Setting: Outside Shankar’s house.)

Priya: (running) Shankar!

Shankar: Priya! You haven’t changed.

Priya: You went to London and forgot us?

Shankar: Never.

Mohammad Ali: (entering) Our London hero is back

Shankar: Ali! My brother

Ali: Come tonight. We will walk on the dark road.

Shankar: (laughing) That road still scares people?

Priya: Still haunted, they say.

Shankar: Haunted?

Priya: Yes… a woman in white is seen often.

Shankar: (smirks) Ghost stories never end in this village.

Scene 3 – First Sight of the White Woman

(Setting: Night. Dark forest road. Wind blowing.)

Shankar: (walking with Ali and Priya) Nothing is haunted here

(A white figure appears near the trees.)

Priya: (whispers) Look…

Ali: Don’t go near it!

Shankar: (stepping forward) Who is there?

(The White Woman stands still—long hair, white saree, pale face.)

White Woman (Lakshmi): (soft voice) Help me…

Priya: Shankar, come back!

Ali: Let’s go!

(The woman disappears.)

Shankar: (shaken) That was not imagination…

Priya: I told you she appears to those she chooses.

(Lights fade.)

ACT II

Scene 1 – The Woman’s Story Begins

(Setting: Shankar’s house, next morning.)

Shankar: Amma, do you know any story of a woman in white?

Sunita: (worried) Why do you ask?

Shankar: I saw her last night.

Ramlal: (tense) Shankar… that woman died years ago.

Shankar: How?

Sunita: People say her name was Lakshmi. She was killed.

Shankar: Killed?

Ramlal: Yes… by her husband, Rahul.

Scene 2 – The Group Decides to Help

(Setting: Priya’s courtyard.)

Priya: She didn’t look dangerous… only sad.

Ali: Ghosts don’t have sadness.

Shankar: No, Ali. She asked for help.

Ali: What do you want to do?

Shankar: Find out what happened to her.

Priya: I am with you.

Ali: (after thinking) Okay… I’m coming too.

Scene 3 – Lakshmi Appears Again

(Setting: Forest. Evening.)

White Woman: (whispering) Shankar…

Shankar: We are here. Tell us what happened.

White Woman: He… killed…

Priya: Who?

White Woman: Rahul… buried me… under the forest ground…

Ali: (frightened) Let’s leave!

Shankar: No! Let her speak.

White Woman: Bring him… here…

Shankar: Why

White Woman: Justice…

(She disappears.)

Priya: Shankar… this is dangerous.

Shankar: But she needs us.

Ali: What do you plan?

Shankar: Call Rahul… somehow.

ACT III

Scene 1 – Planning the Trap

(Setting: Shankar’s room.)

Shankar: We will call Rahul and tell him we want to show him the village.

Priya: Will he come?

Shankar: He will.

Ali: And then?

Shankar: Lakshmi will confront him.

Scene 2 – Rahul is Contacted

Shankar: (on phone) Rahul sir?

Rahul: Yes?

Shankar: I am Shankar from Kuldhara. We are arranging a village tour for visitors.

Rahul: Kuldhara? I haven’t been there in years.

Shankar: Please come.

Rahul: (after pause) Alright. I will come tomorrow.

Shankar: (after hanging up) He’s coming.

Priya: Then everything will end.

Ali: I hope safely.

ACT IV

Scene 1 – Rahul Arrives

(Setting: Village road.)

Rahul: (looking around) This place… brings memories.

Shankar: (calm) Welcome, Rahul sir.

Rahul: Thank you.

Scene 2 – Walking to the Forest

Rahul: Why do you want to show me this forest?

Shankar: You will understand.

Rahul: (nervous) This place… I don’t like it.

Priya: Just come.

Scene 3 – Lakshmi’s Confrontation

(Setting: Deep in the forest. Wind grows stronger.)

White Woman: (appearing slowly) Rahul…

Rahul: (terrified) No… no… Lakshmi?

White Woman: You killed me… buried me… left me to rot…

Rahul: It was an accident

White Woman: Liar…

(She moves closer.)

Rahul: Forgive me

White Woman: I want truth…

Shankar: Tell the truth, Rahul.

Rahul: (crying) I killed her! I buried her here

White Woman: (voice softens) My soul… is free now…

Priya: She’s disappearing…

Ali: She’s at peace.

(White Woman fades away.)

Rahul collapses on the ground.

ACT V

Scene 1 – After the Storm

(Setting: Shankar’s home, morning.)

Shankar: She’s finally at peace.

Sunita: May her soul rest now.

Ramlal: You did the right thing, Shankar.

Scene 2 – Village Gathering

Villager 1: So the white woman was real…

Villager 2: And she found justice.

Priya: Her story will remain in this village forever.

Ali: Yes… no more fear.

Scene 3 – Final Reflection

(Setting: Forest ruins. Night.)

Shankar: It’s quiet now.

Priya: She is gone.

Ali: The forest feels lighter.

Shankar: Her voice will stay with us… always.

(They walk away slowly as the moonlight shines.)
