KG CINEMAS, COIMBATORE:
12:15 PM:
Around 12:15 PM, Akshin reaches KG Cinemas in his Activa 3G scooter along with his friend Anuvishnu. To his back, Aravinth and Dhaswin accompanied him in their Yamaha R15 V3 Bike. They have just then completed their Continuous Assessment Examinations.
Having booked for the recently released period-action film KGF: Chapter 2 starring Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty and Raveena Tandon in the lead roles, the guys quickly reach their seats and are eagerly watching the film. Just before one week, Akshin landed into a huge trouble when he created a social awareness about regional languages like Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and Kannada.
And his criticism against Thalapathy Vijay and his film Beast also landed him into a huge trouble. Since, the actor paid up his associations and police officers to blackmail and threaten Akshin. Fearing for his career in short-film and keeping in mind about his father, Akshin deletes all the reviews from Instagram and gives an open apology in Whatsapp and Instagram.
His friends Sai Adhithya(A Second year Visual Communication student) and Boopesh(A third year student), who are politically influential and known to the popular Political Leader K. Annamalai are released from police station and the Inspector says, “There’s no FIR booked on you man. You are now free. But, don’t write any reviews and politics.”
“Yes sir” said Akshin. Boopesh asked him: “Bro. What did they said bro? I was made to sit outside along with Sai Adhithya.”
“Nothing bro. Problem solved. We doesn’t need to discuss this in further” said Akshin. Akshin have missed the scenes of Mehabooba song and Srinidhi Shetty during the pre-climax scenes. Since, the police officers have called him in between.
As he enters inside the theater to sit in the seats, he realizes the neighboring seat holder is an spy from police department, sent to watch his activities. Now, the Sub-Inspector again calls him and asked: “Hey guy. Where are you now?”
Akshin decides to lie that, he is watching RRR. However, before he could do so, the police officer said: “Don’t try to lie. Say the truth. Because, we have spy to watch you.”
“KGF: Chapter 2 sir” said Akshin to which, the Sub-Inspector said: “2nd time are you watching this? You have given your details right. But, please don’t go for theater one week period of time. It’s for your betterment.”
“Ok sir” said the Police inspector. Akshin thanks Sai Adhithya and Boopesh for their timely help. Now, he peacefully watches the climax portions of KGF in the theater.
After the climax, he goes along with his friends. After dropping Dhaswin at his hostel residence, he goes back to his house and takes rest for a while. Around 6:30 PM, Akshin calls Sai Adhithya and asked him: “Bro. Have you edited and cinematographed short-films?”
“Yeah bro. Why?”
“I am planning to direct a short-film after acting in Shakeel Ahmed’s gangster saga. I thought to have some new crew, cast and technicians. So, I wanted your help.”
“I will help you out in this bro. No problems!”
Akshin nodded his head and additionally seeks the help of his school friend Arjun for assisting him in direction, to which he agrees. He thanks to Lord Ganesha for taking his career peacefully.
Back to his home, his mother asked him: “My son. There’s no problem right? Did the guys came and troubled you again?”
“I have forgot the issue damn it. Why are you reminding me off the issue again mother? Let me move out of it!”
Akshin takes a bath and comes out. After wearing his dresses, he looks up to the new mail in his phone and opens it up. It’s the photo of his friend Sanjana, whom he loved one-sided. He smiles at her photo and realized that, it have came from his own mail-id. Akshin have accidentally sent it again to his whatsapp before two days.
Akshin now recalls the question of that police officer: “Did you have any fight with girls?”
“Sir, no sir. I am not like such!” As Akshin said so, the police officers too said the same.
“Oh! He is good to girls.”
FEW MONTHS BACK:
Akshin now comes back to present and recalls three more incidents, with which his college friends have trapped him. In one incident, his friends have conned him up in the name of girl and made him show his chest and stomach. In the next two video calls from Instagram, his friend’s other college people have tried to con him up as he was looking for a female lead to his short-film. But, he found this out and behaved harsh with them in message. As they are linked politically and know gangsters, Akshin gets threatened by them and beaten up to pulp. He apologized to them and shouted that, “People cheats him in the name of love and girls.”
The only girl who was true to him was Sanjana. She became friend co-incidentally with Akshin during the time of Covid-19 pandemic when he was discussing about the Class representative Hari that time. She is a Brahmin girl from R.S.Puram of Coimbatore district. Though they were close friends in Whatsapp within a few days, his dark past and childhood abuse continually taunts him down and he is forced to lean up his animal nature at times, which too he unveils to her. At one point of time, Sanjana is able to understand his pain. And Akshin too, knows her mother’s death and pain. He just loved her for time pass and to keep her happier and entertained.
Sanjana’s sister Janani came to know about Akshin with the help of her father after which, she warned him to stay away from her with a warning of Police complaint. He agrees and keeps a distance from her, since then. Even when the college re-opened, Akshin tried to keep a distance from her, but in vain.
He prioritized money as his soul and then love and family. Because, people deceived him in the name of love and still now, he is selfish and money-minded. But, Akshin feels guilty indirectly in his mind for hurting Sanjana and showcasing the anger, that he had on his mother to her. When he wasn’t able to attend the re-union party of his friends, he was totally disgusted and as she chats with him that tense moment, Akshin becomes furious.
PRESENT:
“Hey Akshin. Are you there in the line?” The police officer had asked him, to which Akshin responds by saying: “Ah, Yes sir.”
“Okay pa. There would no more be issues in your life. You can continue your short-films and college studies” said the Inspector, to which he agrees.
Akshin now asked to his mind, “In the name of humanity and humility, you asked me to create social awareness. Now, you see. Where am I standing?”
“Life is like such da. You would have lots of enemies as you face the wrath of baddie.” As his mind voice said so, Akshin gets angered and said: “Enough. After two years of struggle, I got this great opportunity to act and direct in Short-film. I am not ready to loose it. Let’s forget about reviewing and talking about politics.”
6:30 AM-
Around 12:00 AM, when Akshin was sleeping peacefully in his bed, Sanjana calls him through Whatsapp. As the phone rings, Akshin wipes off his eyes saying: “At this time, who da?”
He picks up the call and said: “Hello!”
“Akshin. Akshin.” Sanjana cried out and Akshin asked her: “Sanjana. What happened? Why are you screaming out?” Before she could speak out, someone from her back hits her. They takes her off in their car, after leaving her phone behind. Akshin is able to hear her screaming sounds alone.
4:30 AM-
Akshin gets up from his bed and checks the time. The time is 4:30 AM. It’s just a dream. After going to his class, he waits for his friends, who all comes slowly to the class around 8:45 AM. As Rishi enters inside the class, he stares at him and sits in the backside bench. During the break, Akshin meets Sanjana’s close friends Haridhra and Vaishnavi asking them: “Where’s Sanjana? Did she come to the class?”
Hesitating for a while, Vaishnavi said: “She haven’t come to the class yet, Akshin.”
“Usually, you both would come to the class together right. Even when leaving the college, you both would go together in bus, right?”
“Yeah, we usually would go together in the bus. But, yesterday she didn’t come with us. I and Haridhra went together in the bus and she went alone.” As she said this, Akshin gets shocked and panics. However, Vaishnavi consoled him and says: “Don’t need to worry man. She would come back safer. We are there for her.”
At the same time, Akshin’s father Narayana Murthy calls him.
“Yes dad. How are you?”
“I am fine my son. How is your hostel life? Is everything fine there?” Akshin blinks for a while and said: “Yes dad. Everything is fine here. How is our farmland? Is everything okay?”
“Yeah pa. Only regret is about your mother. Betraying your own uncle Kumar, she is serving her jail sentence now.” As he said this Akshin said: “Karma is a boomerang dad. For her sins and mistakes, she is now repenting.”
He hangs off the call and shouts out aloud thinking about Sajana. As he shouted, his friend Sharan intervened and asked: “Hey. What happened da? Are you mad?”
Akshin said: “Nothing of that sort da. I had happiness to do short-film la. That’s why!” He looks here and there, when talking with him.
“Look at my eyes and speak da. Why are you looking here and there? Your eyes are speaking. Why do you want to hide your pain?”
Akshin said: “For crying out aloud for each and every problems, are we women da? Men! Great men da. How much bad creatures are we da! Hmm.” He wiped off his tears and said: “Sanjana used to be supportive for me during online class da. When she is not there now, I feel like standing near to ‘The Islands of Blood’ you know?”
His friends consoled him and asked him, “Not to worry about it.” After the classes get over, Akshin goes along with Rishi Khanna to meet Rishi’s friends: Nagoor, Akshin and Muhammad Afsal.
Meeting them, Akshin said to Nagoor: “Bro. We could have gone through some problems and misunderstandings in the past. Let’s forget about it. Now, I need your help!”
Looking at Rishi, Nagoor asked him: “What does he want da?”
Rishi remains silent. Hence, Anish asked: “Bro. Tell us. What do you want from us bro?”
Akshin said: “A girl went missing from our class bro. We suspect something wrong in this. So, we need your help now!”
Afsal hesitates to help although Nagoor and Anish accepts. As they accepts, Afsal angrily shouts at them asking them: “Hey. Remember da! It’s a police case. If we also search for her, then we would be troubled by the police.”

Anish turns him down by saying: “Let it happen da. We don’t have to worry. Bro. You go, we will find her out with our sources.” Rishi consoled Akshin and they depart to the hostel. When he is laying flat in his bed thinking about Sanjana, a calling bell hits his room.
As he opened the door, two police constables have come to meet him. Taking him to the Peelamedu Police Station, the constables asked him to sit in a bench and informs to the Sub-Inspector. Sanjana’s sister Janani have lodged a complaint on Akshin to the Sub-Inspector.
Hearing the news from one of his friend’s sources, Boopesh and Sai Adhithya rushes to the station by bringing a lawyer for bailing him out. However, Sub-Inspector refuses to bail telling: “Boopesh bro. I can’t do anything. Her sister strongly suspects your friend Akshin. And I am not dealing with this case. I am directed to investigate this case!”
“Who had taken up this case sir?” Looking for a while, Sub-Inspector tells: “ASP Yeshwant Kumar is investigating this case. You have to talk with him.” The lawyer speaks with the ASP for half-an-hour saying: “Sir. Akshin have been distancing himself away from Sanjana as per the promise he gave to her sister. Then, why should he kidnap her? And what’s the evidence that he have kidnapped her?”
The ASP shows him the calls which showcased Sanjana trying to talk with Akshin before getting kidnapped. He further showcases the CCTV footage, which had Akshin sad and upset. Now he says: “Sir. We didn’t call him to arrest. But, to interrogate what does Sanjana tried to converse with him before disappearing!”
Akshin goes to them braver and the ASP poses him questions about Sanjana. Answering him bravely, Akshin tells about misunderstandings and problems between them and from then, he have been staying away from her. As she called him one day, he hesitated and attended. The last voice he heard was her shouting after which the call gets hanged. Since then, Akshin had been searching for her everywhere.
The ASP allows him to go and Boopesh takes him back to their room around 10:30 PM. There, Boopesh asked Akshin: “Bro. Why did you search Sanjana without letting us informed?”
Akshin looked at them for a while and said: “Bro. Already you have been in deep trouble because of me. That’s why I didn’t inform you.”
Looking at Adhithya, Boopesh said: “What’s this da? We are there to help you out. But, without letting us known, you have taken your own step. If something have happened to you, what would your father do da? Already your mother is in prison!”
Akshin apologized to him and when speaking, Nagoor calls him.
“Yeah, tell me Nagoor.”
“Bro. Come to Kuniyamuthur immediately.”
Akshin rushes to the lake spot along with Sanjana’s father and sister Janani, where he finds out Nagoor, Anish and Afsal. Police officers and few more people have been surrounding the place. Akshin asked: “What happened bro?”
“Be patient bro. It’s someone’s dead body it seems. That’s why we came here.” Hearing this, Sanjana’s father cried out aloud. But, they finds out that “It’s not Sanjana’s dead body” and Akshin shouts out.
“Where is Sanjana da?” Akshin shouts at Sai Adhithya, with a sort of tears in his eyes. Taking away his hands from Adhithya’s shirts, Akshin said: “Oh! Sorry da. I have been running behind money. But, more than money, I am now deeply concerned for Sanjana da.”
Janani realized her mistakes and apologized to Akshin for her rude behaviour. However, Akshin’s College principal calls him and asked him to come for her cabin, the next day. There, Akshin’s Third Hand Club head, his Tutor and HOD have been sitting. They said: “Akshin. We know you didn’t do any mistakes. But, concerning the reputation of our college image, we have took a decision to suspend you for one week.” A very few minutes later, Akshin’s friend Shakeel Ahmed informs him that: “They have removed him from Short-film’s casting .” Akshin’s Direction tutor too is helpless and he is heartbroken due to the continuous tragedy.
As he comes out in tears, Boopesh and the Sub-Inspector consoled him by saying: “Don’t worry da. Everything will be fine.”
However, Akshin cried: “I have lost everything sir. Happiness, peace, everything. Then, what would go fine? What life is this bro? Deeply frustrating and disgusting!”
Sai Adhithya asked him to be braver and stronger. At this point of time, Afsal calls Akshin. He said, “Bro. Our men have spotted Sanjana’s mobile with police’s help.”
Akshin gets up and asked: “Where’s it bro?”
“Near Kovai Pudur main road.” Akshin rushes there with Sai Adhithya and finds out the mobile phone of Sanjana. He hopes to find out Sanjana sooner. However, a stranger calls him, which Akshin attends.
“Hello!”
“Hey. Do you want to know where Sanjana is?” asked the stranger. While, the police headed by ASP Yeswanth and Sub-Inspector traces the call location of the stranger. But, the control room says: “Sir. Call location is not proper. Calls are multiplying.” The stranger have used jammer to divert the location.
However, Nagoor, Anish and Afsal are already experts and intelligent in hacking phones. They finds out the details of the stranger by hacking his phone. Nagoor tells to Anish: “Bro. The stranger’s photo and his location had been found out.”
“Where’s the location bro? Show me his photo.” Akshin said to which, Afsal shows. After Sai Adhithya and Akshin sees the photo, they are extremely shocked. Even Nagoor, Afsal and Anish are puzzled. It’s Akshin’s uncle Rajendran and his mother-in-law Gomathi.
Akshin reaches there with his friends. After much search and proceedings, Akshin is able to find out Sanjana, who becomes emotional upon seeing him. They both embrace. However, Rajendran holds them at gun point and threatens them to kneel down.
Rajendran’s men surrounds him and as per his orders, they beats up Akshin. Sai Adhithya informs Boopesh and he comes to the location. While Nagoor, Afsal and Anish tries to save Akshin. But, he stops them saying: “It’s our family problem bro. I will solve it myself.”
However, Rajendran orders his men to attack Nagoor, Afsal and Anish too. Holding them hostage, Rajendran now said: “Why did you sent my sister to prison da? For the mistakes that she didn’t do, you have framed her up and imprisoned her. How smart and criminal are you?”
As Akshin looked at him in fear, Rajendran said: “Since childhood, we are criminals da. I and my sister have cheated and grabbed the property of many people. We are watching your breathing to every activities that you do. When I was attacked, I assumed it was my sister and hated. But, I realized it was your sketch to separate our family as we separated your father’s family. What did you said da? We all should live a death. No. You should live a death.”
Akshin recalls an incident with Nagoor Meeran in VLB College, after apologizing to him for being harsh and speaking bad about his family. After a few days, he have once again gone to meet Nagoor, Afsal and Anish alongside Sai Adhithya, who accompanied him to the place.
There, Akshin made a plan to attack his uncle Rajendran by playing chess game with the guys. To the guys he requested: "Nagoor. You, Afsal and Anish shouldn't attack my uncle."
"Why?" Afsal asked to which Sai Adhithya replied: "We wanted North Indians to attack him. Since, they are clever-minded in executing murders and attacks. And Akshin doesn't want you to land in trouble."
The guys agreed and refused to get any payments, citing friendship. They sent North Indians to the place and made them to observe Rajendran for days. After some days, they attacked him and put the blame on Akshin's mother. Nagoor cleverly replaced Rs. 1 Lakh in the bag of Akshin's mother. She was sentenced to prison due to the strong evidence against her.
At present, Rajendran orders Akshin’s friends to be killed except Sanjana. Rajendran and Gomathi orders his men to rape and murder Sanjana to make Akshin suffer throughout his lifetime. Akshin gets angered and steadily gets up.
He kills Rajendran’s men brutally to death. After killing them, Akshin paralyzes Gomathi permanently by asking her to remember, “How she betrayed his maternal uncle Arusamy for the sake of Rajendran by misguiding his mother.” He further asked her to remember, “How his maternal uncle lived in poverty and shed tears to his father.”
“I wanted you to die a brutal death da. Why you know? I believed you all blindly. But, you all landed me in Ayurvedha hospitals when I was in 10th grade. I had lots of dreams da. How much I could have planned for leave? You and that prison trash have completely spoiled it. You all made me mad by betraying me. Keep this in mind. I would forgive my enemy. Because, he would clash directly with me.” He looks at Nagoor, Afsal and Anish as they have once clashed with him and now, they are his friends. Now, Akshin brutally hits the spine of his uncle, without showcasing any mercy.
Seeing this, Nagoor closes his eyes and said: “Bro. Please don’t do this.”
“But, backstabbers like you, I never forgive in my life uncle. Hey!” Akshin shouts and fractures his leg. Feeling emotional upon seeing them in this state, Akshin questioned them: “Now, do you realize my pain? How much you all have tortured me, maternal uncle and my father? All just for money. Chi!”
Boopesh solves the arrest-issues for Akshin by using his power and influence due to which, ASP Yeswanth closes this case by filing an additional kidnap case against drug peddlers. He also arrests Gomathi and Rajendran in charge of kidnapping Sanjana.
After locking them up in prison, Sub-Inspector asked: “Sir. Even after my request to spare Akshin, you didn’t. But, you spared him as Minister have asked you to do so?”
Yeshwant replied: “No. It’s because, Akshin was a victim of family betrayal. We could even forgive our enemies. But, we should never forgive the traitors. His revenge had been justified.”
Meanwhile, Akshin drops Sanjana back at her house, after solving the case. As Janani and Sanjana’s father looked, Akshin said: “I will leave sister. Since, principal mam have revoked my suspension order. I should have to resume my short-film work too.”
As he proceeds to take his scooter, Sanjana holds his hands and said: “For how many days are you going to fear for your father and other people? All your problems have been solved. Now, be bold da. Because, I am in love with you.” She embraces him.
Akshin smiles and holds her shoulders gaze. He tells to his mind: “Money is nothing behind love and affection da. I know what I am capable of. I am someone to fear, not hunt. Because a warrior never worries about his fear. I am a warrior for Sanjana and my beloved ones. I would rise every time as I fall down.”
FEW DAYS LATER:
A few days later, Akshin resumes his short-film shooting in a room, organized by his mentor Panbuselvan in Hostel room of their college. After completing the first shoot with Sai Adhithya and Arjun’s assistance, Akshin gets a phone call from Sanjana.
“Yes Sanjana.”
“Akshin. You have to come near E-Block. Few people are ridiculing me and Haridhra.”
He walks from his place to E-Block. While, Adhithya asked him: “Where are you going da?”
“Going to defend my girlfriend as the warrior da Adhithya” said Akshin. Understanding what he says, Adhithya decides to halt the second shot of their short-film for one day and informs to Arjun, which he accepts after speaking with Panbuselvan sir.
