The Super Mom

I haven't seen much of women so I don't claim to be an expert on that. But I am a reasonably read person so atleast I can make a fair judgment. I am not baize here. The evidence I will put before you will make one convinced that she was the unsung heroine. The woman I am going to talk about is my mother Late Smt Ram piyariji. She started her journey from a remote village in the Kandi area of Punjab. She was the eldest daughter in a family of six siblings. So obviously more responsibilities. She got married at the age of 14yyrs and came to her in-laws. But being a child herself faced hardships. But no excuses everyone use to get married early on in those days. She was blessed with her first song at the age of 17yrs. Then her husband my father got appointed to the police dept and moved to a city in Himachal. But she was putting over with her in-laws only. But being a lady of great wisdom she saw early that her kid is getting spoiled. So she decided to move with her husband to a city in spite of a lot of discouragements from the rest of the family. And finally, she moved. As her husband was serving at the bottom of the pyramid so he was very little pay. But with her acumen she successfully made the two ends meet. Her eldest son started going to school and the other two sons arrived. So the eldest being very smart joined college and the younger two were moving smoothly in school. During this time her husband had about of typhoid twice and in spite of the resource crunch in the family, she was able to do everything needful comfortably. Although during my father's illness she had a very hectic schedule because of the lone one to work.

Then the eldest in the family passed out from college and younger to him joined college and the youngest one was put in the finest school at that time in the city. The youngest son complained of not picking well in the class because he was shifted from Hindi medium to English medium suddenly. She immediately arranged for extra help in her studies in spite of being under a lot of financial stress. Now eldest was struggling hard to find a job but unfortunately, he was not getting success. He was sent to do an MA from Rajasthan University. Now the younger one was the most intelligent in the family qualified CDS and joined armed forces. During that day one has to manage all the expenses of training on your own in OTS. The defense forces use to provide only a little bit of Stephen. Somehow it was again managed by her brilliance. Now luckily eldest one also got appointed in a bank. Now the issue of her marriage came. She opposed that her daughter in-laws will keep their faces covered before the elders. This was opposed by all but in whispers, because my mother was a very strong lady. So it became trendy in the village and now hardly anyone covers her face. 

This is the story of an iron lady in my family.
