The Stranger (Part-5)....

Sara reached home from her school after Sangeeta left their place. She looked a bit tired today as Meera could see from her face. Meera went to her mother and asked her to relax and she went to the kitchen to make coffee for Sara and asked Rima to give a glass of water to Sara. Both the sisters took water and coffee for Sara and gave her. They sat beside her. They could see some pains and fear in Sara's eyes. Meera hugged her mother and said, "what are you thinking Mom? Why are you looking so dull? Just relax and have faith in us." Sara took a sip of coffee and looked at her loving daughters and gave a smile. She just said, "Yes I know both of you are my very brave and intelligent children. I just had some hectic work in school and that made me very tired. Don't worry, I am fine."

Rima then gave a hug and kiss to her mother Sara and left for her study table. Meera could sense that her mother is hiding something. Then Meera went to her room. Meera looked at the points she had written after the discussion with Sangeeta.

Meera then sat with her laptop. She searched her friend Arun Kumar on Facebook to find out more details about him. She knew from the media news that Arun Kumar is a very efficient and honest officer of N C B. Meera and Arun had their schooling together from the same school. After 12th Meera went for doing engineering and Arun had completed his MA in economics. Then Arun tried for civil service examination and got IPS. There is a long gap of around 8years and they don't have any connection. Meera after search got the profile of Arun Kumar and send the friend request to him. Then he searched for Ashok Mitra, who was two years senior to her engineering, and after engineering, he got IPS and is now a CBI officer. While searching for Ashok, she found that already he had sent her a friend request. She immediately accepted that and send a message to him. Then she was trying to get some more details about Mr. Rajendra Kapoor and his business. After one hour there was a video call request from Ashok. Meera received it. First, they wished each other, and then Ashok told her, "Actually I made this video call make it sure that it's you. I gave the friend request one month back to you as not have any contact details of you. It was just after your accident. Now we can be in contact with each other over this messenger call and we will meet very soon as I have to speak to a lot of things regarding the happenings around you and your family. I will meet you in some other disguise that I will inform you about before the meeting. Take care of yourself and your family. Always you can leave a message here in case of any problem."

Then Ashok disconnected the line. Now Meera started thinking of Ashok's statements. Her doubt of problems for the family came true. Now she should take some measures for that. Then Meera found Arun had accepted her request and asked for her contact details. Meera send her contact details with a note of not calling as her phone might have been tapped. Then Arun gave a video call in Messenger and Meera was very happy to see him. Meera told her briefly about the urgency of meeting him for a discussion. Then Arun told her, "Ok Meera, I could understand the problems. My cousin, who is a doctor in your town is going to get married in two days and I will ask him to invite you. So that we can meet in the reception and discuss. No one will know about this."Meera thanked Arun for this and get relaxed. Then they disconnected the call.

Sara called Meera for the dinner. All three of them took dinner and Meera said to Sara and Rima, "Now I suggest both of you be very careful while going out. Never talk to The Strangers. Finish up your work as soon as possible and return home. I am just saying this as a precautionary measure for avoiding any problem." Sara looked at Meera and could sense that her daughter is just talking like her father Manas. All of them finished their dinner and went to sleep.

The next day Sara finished her work and left for school. Rima got busy with her study. Meera received a messenger call from Ashok that at about 12 noon he will come as a courier person's disguise to her house. Meera got excited and wait for Ashok. Exactly at about 12 noon, the doorbell rang. Meera opened the door and saw Ashok standing with a packet in courier person's disguise. She called him inside. Ashok looked back and get inside, then closed the door. They greeted each other. Then Ashok gave the parcel to Meera and said, "There is a Mobile inside with a sim card. This is the official mobile phone. My number is fed there along with some emergency numbers. In case of any emergency just give a call to me or to any of the numbers. I have very little time with me. Now one person in the disguise of a mad person will be always outside your house, he is our staff. I will show you him while leaving. You can even tell him it can't make the call. He will be watching every activity here. He has been deputed here for two months. Your father is the pride of our department, he is alive and on his duty. You and your family are now the targets of drug Mafias, who want to stop your father through emotional torture. Now let me leave and we will meet soon."Then Ashok opened the door and Meera was standing beside him. She saw a mad person come towards them. That stranger was having similarity with the person who had saved her in the marketplace. When he came near, he gave a smile to Ashok and Meera. He acted like a mad person and said, "Don't fear, I am here."Then he ran away. Ashok left like a courier man. Meera closed the door. Now she got The Stranger outside her house for the support of her family. She was delighted to know that her father is alive as confirmed by Ashok. She rushed to her room and lay down on her bed with tears of happiness in her eyes.
