It was around 10 PM. My mom came to drop me to Abby's house for a sleepover....

“Enjoy with your friends! And, remember everything I told you…. And wait! Don’t stay up late at night. Ok?” Mom said. “Yes, mom. Byee!” Mom drove off as I hurried to the door and knocked. “Abby?” I heard footsteps near the wooden stairs. A faint shadow of a girl appeared through the window. The door slowly creaked open revealing Abby, my best friend. “Hey sis! Come in!” Sara also came from behind her. “Hey BRO.” She said. “I’m not your BRO, I’m your SIS!” I said. “Whatever, come inside, we will play something till Hannah arrives.” Sara said. We all went in Abby’s bedroom and started to discuss.

“What should we play?” I asked. “Maybe something horror!” Sara suggested. “That’s a pretty good idea!” I agreed, as Abby nodded. We decided to play the Ouija board. We did not have one, so we made it using paper. First, we had to turn off all the lights, then lit three candles. “What else do we have to do?” Sara asked. “Now, we put a glass on the words “START”, and then put out hands on it.” I explained. “What if someone happens? Even my parents aren’t home. There’s just the three of us.” Abby said. “Nothing will happen, don’t worry.” “Yea, It’s all fake anyways.” Sara and I assured her. The gloomy atmosphere gave me chills though. I cleared my throat and started. “Is there any spirit that would like to contact us?” There was a dead silence. Suddenly, the glass jerked and all of us flinched. “Ah! What was that???” Abby exclaimed. Both of us turned to Sara who was laughing uncontrollably. “HAAAAH! Look at your faces! I tricked you!” “That was NOT funny, Sara.” I rolled my eyes, as I repeated. “Is there any spirit who wants to contact us?” there was dead silence again. But I started to notice the room was getting colder. A gentle, chilly breeze blew past us. Suddenly all the three candles blew out. “Oh, god.” Sara let out a nervous sigh. I mean, the breeze was not so strong to blow all the candles out. I started freaking out a little.

“Guys, let’s stop the game here.” Abby said. “Yea, you’re right.” I said as I ripped off the papers. “Where should I throw it?” I asked. “I think you should throw it out of the window.” Sara suggested. “Yeah.” Said Abby. As I threw the shredded pieces out of the window, the doorbell rang. “Must be Hannah…” Abby said, as we all went downstairs.
