Luna and Nancy headed to California Bank. Everyone was in a panic. No one knew what to do. Suddenly, the manager came running towards them both, he was sweating. He said he found a note on the floor. It read:
“So you came till here, dear Luna and Nancy. I was waiting for you. Try to arrest me if you can. Let’s see how smart you are. The time will be exactly 12 ‘o clock in the morning. The place: The diamond museum. Hope to see you there!
To my dear Luna and Nancy
Anonymous”
Their jaws almost dropped by reading this. “No matter what, we ARE gonna catch this thief one day,” Nancy said. Luna clutched the crisp note as they headed to Seattle, promising the manager to bring their money back.
