The Peasant's Son

Once upon a time, long long ago approximately in the year 1213, a man named Zaiky had a small family, they lived in Japan. Like every peasant in his village, he and his family must work day and night to raise his son Zanku with wisdom and courtesy, as he was their only son. As a result, Zanku was intelligent. Unfortunately in the middle of this peace, there was a greedy tax collector who would accuse other people of false debts and interests. That day the tax collector went by thinking of whom to accuse? Then he saw the peasant's house.

He said to the door, "Zaiky you need to pay me 30 yen as debts". No reply came, when he opened the door he only saw Zanku. Then Zanku said, "we have no debts to pay sir." Then the tax collector snapped,"If you dint give me the money I will go to the court!" Zanku paused for a minute and then said, "if you want to enjoy your life why should I give money?" Then the tax collector said," then I will surely go to the court, but who will be our witness?" "What about the house fly?"said Zanku. The tax collector agreed.

The next day they both were in the court in front of the judge. He asked many questions to many villagers and they all complained about the tax collector. And he always lied to the judge about what the villagers told. Then it was Zanku's turn to accuse the tax collector. He clearly stated what had happened that day but the tax collector disagreed to it. Then the judge asked if there was a witness to the problem. The tax collector snapped, "there was none," but even before the tax collector could finish his words Zanku said, "there was one, a fly sitting on the tax collector's bum!" The court filled with laughter and slowly quietened down. Then the tax collector snapped,"it was sitting on the house pole not on my bum!" Then he realized his mistake and was immediately sent to prison.
