The Haunted Train...

Linda, a 20-year old girl was planning to go to a hill station with her friends to celebrate her birthday. She told her friends Mary and Shelly about this trip. The agreed and thought it would be a great get-together for them. So they discussed about the trip, which clothes would they take to do twinning, and what food, snacks, shoes and other accessories.

Days passed by, and they were all ready for the trip, they all packed their stuff and met at the train station. Their train was at 8:00pm, but it was delayed for a long time and it finally reached at 11:00pm. The train was all greyish-black in colour and the paint had faded, it had many dents all around. Linda was very doubtful about going on this train, but her friends reminded her that it was her birthday tomorrow and they had to reach there, plus there was no other train to go to their destination.

Mary said, "It does look a bit weird but we have to go in, they went in the train, there were only a few people in the train, they went to there cabin, put their luggage under their seats and as it was nearly midnight they all slept soundly, for a few hours, everything was ok. Suddenly, the train moved so hard as if it had crossed a huge rock, all the three girls were on the floor. Luckily, no one got hurt. They were all back to sleep but no one could sleep as the same thing happened around six to seven times, they decided to go engine to see what's happening there. They went out of their cabin and were surprised to see that all other passengers were soundly sleeping. Linda said in a fearful voice, " Don't you think that's weird, that when we all are not able to sleep, the other people are soundly sleeping?"

Shelly agreed, "You do seem right... well, Let's go to the engine." As they opened the engine door, their eyeballs ran around the room and they were surprised to see no one on the room. they moved a step further and suddenly Linda felt a hand on her shoulder and she closed her eyes and screamed as loudly as she could. Mary and Shelly were surprised to see no one but a creepy hand on her and they closed their eyes and shouted too. The second, Linda opened her eyes, she was surprised to see her mother upon her, She asked her what happened and why was she screaming, Linda told her the whole of her story, and her mother told that it was just a nightmare and nothing to worry about, Linda packed her bags to go to the station with her mother and when the train arrived it was all painted up in bright colours, when she stepped in the train, it was full of people. She waved at her mother and said Goodbye, when she discussed the dream with her friends they were shocked and told Linda that they had the same dream too...
