The Mystery Of The Silver Bracelet

"Mom!!, I am getting late can you please hand over my bag fast!!!"

It was eight at the night in the town of London. Camilla, a renowned mystery solver was getting ready for a grand slumber party on a cruise with her friends. At a very young age of 23, her mastermind brain made her popular in everything... She as a student in her early years was every year given the post of the head girl of the school and was always asked for help by her friends in time of worse situations...

Camilla:- Should I go, now? I think I have packed everything...

Mom:- Checking once more doesn't do you any harm? does it? By the way, You seem to be too excited...

Camilla:- It's because I am, Mom!

Mom:- I hope you didn't forget to wear your grandma's gifted silver bracelet?

Camilla:- Mom! When have I taken it off?

Mom:- Fine!, Meet you tomorrow, bye!!

Camilla:- Bye mom, meet you tomorrow too...

Camilla gets into her cab and soon reaches the cruise. As she was the one who organised the party. The whole crowd was waiting for her, after a lot of cheering and shouting, they moved forward for some dance and games... After two hours of continuous fun, Camilla announced a chill time where people can gather in groups and chit-chat for some time. Camilla shifted to her group of best friends but people were trying to get her attention towards them so that they could discuss their problems with her. At last, after she talked and discussed with everyone, she went to talk to her BFF, Charlotte. Charlotte was her childhood friend and Camilla was always grateful that they were in touch with each other after so many years... Charlotte was waiting for her at a corner table sipping a lemonade...

Camilla:- Ahh, I seriously didn't know that organising a party is such stress! but on the other hand, it's such a pleasure!

Charlotte:- You mean, especially hanging out with your BFF, right?

Camilla:- Obviously yes!! So what should we do first? only you and me...

Charlotte:-Hmm...Can I ask you a question?

Camilla:- Of course... ( Camilla sips her juice )

Charlotte:- Where's the silver bracelet which your grandma gave to you long ago?

Camilla:- Its's right on my ha..... OMG! Where is it?

Charlotte:- Have you taken it off?

Camilla:- Since my grandma gifted me? Never!!

Camilla was stressed. Her grandma gifted her the most valued silver bracelet of all time on her third birthday, since that time, she had never taken it off. After half an hour of searching, she went behind the mics and speaker... Charlotte asked her," What are you going to do now?" She replied," Nothing new, just apply my mystery solving skills..." Charlotte finally calmed herself down because she knew that Camilla would find it soon. Camilla announced,

People, I want your attention here, just for a minute! Hope you are having fun at this party, We got a complaint from a person that her expensive silver bracelet is lost...We are having a machine, which works when you put your hand on the scanner it identifies the thief. We will be taking out all the names of the people whom I have invited and the staff people and they have to come and put their hands here. Also, the gates to the exits are locked and secured. So, if the thief is here, they won't be able to escape, we would start calling the names of the people whom I have invited after the dinner. Thank You for your cooperation and support.

Charlotte asked her if this machine really works. Camilla nodded. She went with Charlotte to the café to get some hot coffee and spend some time with each other. Charlotte asked her if she has some plan to identify the thief. "Yup, through the scanner..." Camilla answered her. She offered to spend some time watching some TV shows in her room, Charlotte accompanied her. Before they knew it was 10 pm. They wore lovely clothes and arrived at the hall. She announced a buffet, and they all sat down on the great dining table. After a long dinner night, the inspection started. Everywhere the police were searching for people hidden, everyone queued for the scanner, even the staff members, as soon as the project was about to start, Camilla was talking about the machine with the manager, when she heard the sound of flowing water, she turned back when she saw a staff member wearing a cap pouring water right into the machine, 

Camilla:- Aha!! Who are you? and What in the world are to trying to get by pouring water in the scanner?!

Staff member:- Uhh...ah... Actually, I was pouring water into the plants and... by, by mistakenly it went in the machine...

Camilla:- I see... Well, admit that you're caught, you're the one right who stole my bracelet?

Staff member:- Wha..tt?? I don't know any bracelets and I haven't even stolen one!

Camilla:- Fine then, I am giving you two options, either you confess that you have my silver bracelet or we'll investigate...

Staff member:- I didn't take your bracelet but that person Jayden told me to work here as a staff member and get your bracelet...

Camilla:- Where's Jayden? 

A running security guard came in and said," There's a person escaping through the emergency exit, come fast and get him!" All the guards rushed out and once and caught the person, he was brought in front of everyone...

Camilla:- ahh.. Now, Where's my bracelet? 

With an annoyed face, he took a shining silver bracelet and handed it to her...

Camilla:- So, I knew that a person from the staff has taken my bracelet because you ( pointing at the staff member) was following me wherever I go with a guilty face... But I wanted to show your great skills of stealing to everyone... That scanner doesn't work... But I knew you would try to destroy it some way or the other...

Both, the staff member and Jayden were suspended from their work for one year. Charlotte came to Camilla and said,

Charlotte:- So, another large mystery solved!! Wanna have some fun for real??

Camilla:- I have finally got my most lucky charm, so to celebrate this, who wants to go to the dance floor??
