The Elevator Game

I had just turned 22 when I left Sikkim and came back to Kolkata. I can still remember the biggest mistake I ever made, which left me unable to walk. Because of my wounded leg, I am still unable to walk properly. This cursed incident in my tale occurred in February 2018. I became obsessed with a peculiar game of death. My parents sent me to a boarding school in Sikkim from Kolkata. I was young, therefore I was very drawn to a lot of supernatural things. I was pleasantly surprised when a friend of mine informed me about a mystery game. I heard a true account of a student named Alexa Fernandez, who was 21 years old. She stayed at the Cecil Hotel in Los Angeles, which is said to be haunted. I was drawn to the elevator game by the Alexa Fernandez Mystery.

Actually, Alexa engaged in the hotel's elevator game. This has been demonstrated and captured on the elevator's CCTV camera. But it is really surprising that she disappeared from that hotel on the same day. After 19 days, some hotel guests began to complain that the tap water was dirty and unpleasant. The hotel management sent a plumber to the 10th floor of the hotel to investigate the cause of the water tank explosion after receiving several complaints from the entire hotel personnel. The moment the plumber discovered what was in the tank, he became frightened and quickly ran from there. Inside the tank, he observed a dead, rotting body floating. The deceased's body was in a state of decomposition. The death of 21-year-old student Alexa still remains a terrifying mystery. Some individuals think that she was murdered. Some people think she was killed by malevolent spirits, while others think she committed suicide because she played the elevator game.

The mystery behind this horrific incident is still unresolved. My friend informed me of this crap game he intends to play following his marriage. I informed him I was interested in playing this game shortly.

"There are rules to this game", he added, "I require a 10-story building or a hotel of your choice."

"What is the rule?" I questioned him.

"You have to play the game alone at night. You might hear some strange calls from strangers while playing, but you have to ignore them and continue playing." I told him I would play in response. Of course, I'm interested in learning the truth about the elevator game. I decided right then and there that I would play it tonight at my grandpa's flat. I made the decision there and then to perform it tonight at my grandpa's apartment. I got to the apartment after midnight that night and started playing because I am quite familiar with the guidelines for this type of horror game.

After playing for ten minutes, I sensed a presence in my elevator. I sprang into fear. Five minutes later, I noticed an elderly man walking toward my elevator. "Naughty boy, where are you going at night?" he kept on asking me. I remained silent as he continued to look at me. The elderly man with the dark hat and cloak had a really ominous appearance. He had an extremely unsettling look. He simply has white eyes and hair; he has no eyeballs. According to the game, a very spooky person will appear. I still recall my friend telling me that earlier. I quickly attempted to flee outside as he drew near. But the door caught my foot. At that time I saw his face and his demonic smile.

By that strange smile, I fully understood that he is not a living person. He does not belong to this world. His body was emitting a weird odour that reminded people of a dead, rotting corpse. My foot became jammed in the elevator door as I promptly tried to exit. I attempted to go anyway, but the elevator became faulty, and I ended up losing one of my legs.
