First Love

Kunal first saw Tithi after a rainy afternoon when the moon shone brightly in the starry sky. They were on their way home from tuition. In the moonlight that day, his four-year-old classmate felt differently. "Tithi, I love you!" spilled out of his mouth.

Tithi remained silent. As she walked away softly, a cloud of grief settled over the moon. She belonged to a conservative household, thus she wasn't allowed to make love.

Many years have gone since that time. Kunal is currently a well-known businessman. He's doing fine in the big metropolis. Tithi's life has also become exceedingly busy as a result of her marriage to a man who has been fixed by her family. She doesn't have time to consider her options.

On a rainy evening, though, when the lunar eclipse occurs, two minds on opposite ends of the country recall. They become arrogant as a result of their inability to do so. Isn't it true that first loves never succeed?
