It rained.

It lightning.

It was cold.

The moon hung high in the sky. Dark clouds drifted in front of the moon. It was midnight. Avery was under a tree in the woods. She was looking for firewood. It rained harder. She was cold and wet. There was no other living creature in the forest. The raindrops dripped from the leaves and fell to the ground. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw something moving and looked back. Nothing ...

It had looked like a shadow. She wasn't sure she had seen it, it might be an animal, but not a single animal was to be seen. She looked to her older sister Averia standing next to her and asked: "have you seen that ?"

"What ?"Averia asked.

"A man there in the dark", Avery said, pointing to a spot where the trees were close together.

"No, I had seen nothing. What ails you ?"

It had really been a shadow. She shouldn't have said anything to Averia. She heard a branch crack and was shocked, but Averia had heard nothing. And then Avery saw something she will never forget. Behind Averia she saw a man in a black hat. He was six feet tall and his eyes were red. His fingers had the claws of a predator. He was dressed completely in black. She started screaming ."Look around, there is a man behind you with red eyes !"

"What is it ?"Averia asked.

"Look around, there is a man behind you !" she shouted.

"Have you gone crazy ?"Averia asked. And then everything became visible to her and she looked back. And there she saw a demon alive.

"Run, run ?" she screamed. They both turned and ran down the muddy forest path. It just kept raining. The trees came alive and took hold of the girls. They dodged the grasping branches and ran to the village. The man in the black hat turned into a three-headed snake and followed the running girls. "Keep running, "Averia said when she saw her younger sister start to run more slowly. The moon was red as blood. The snake opened his mouth and vomited bats. The bats flew after the girls. They were finally caught by the branches and tried to get free, but the grip of the branches could not be relaxed. Under their cleft, the ground open and a dragon came out. The dragon spewed fire and the bats were charred screaming. The branches reached for the dragon. The dragon came loose and burned the trees. The snake glared at the dragon.

"Go away! Let me kill them and drink their blood to get stronger. Go away or I will kill you ", the snake said.

"I'm here to save people ".

The snake leapt to the dragon with a mouth full of sharp teeth. The dragon sprang aside and spat fire at the snake. Dozens of bats fired from the snake's mouth. The dragon bit the bats to death. The serpent attacked itself and bit the dragon's neck. The dragon broke free and flow into the air. He spits fire throughout the forest. Smoke curled up and darkened the moon. There was smoke and fire everywhere. From the flames rose the man in the black hat and hovered ten meters in front of the dragon. His red eyes lit up the whole area. He flew to the dragon with outstretched claws. There in the midst of the smoke they fought. The branches dropped the girls because they had been hit by flames. Avaria ran away in panic. She saw nothing but smoke and flames.

Avery left behind. She was surrounded by fire. Burning branches cracked and fell to the ground. She screamed for help. There was no one to save her. The dragon was in battle with the man in the black hat. The fire spread on and on. The smoke turns everything black. Smoke entered Avery's mouth. She was left to her own devices.
