The Lifesaver

This is the sequel on the warriors of the dragon-eye. The second of story of Rulon the magician and the magic ring.

Rulon was imprisoned in a dungeon in Vurion's castle. In a few hours he would be killed by Vurion. He had no were to escape. There was nothing he could do to avoid being killed. He couldn't use his magic anymore. His ring disappeared in a river. His death was coming. There was no way to prevent his death 

A few hours later...

Rulon woke up with a start. He had heard a door crack open. He assumed the guards came to disguise him. His life was over. Just a few minutes and his life was over. The dungeon in witch Rulon sat was square. It was very dark in the dungeon. 

The door of his cell opened and before he could do anything he was handcuffed and lead away by guards. They went into different rooms to come out from others. Rulon would be beheaded by Vurion. His death was approaching. They walk out from the castle and went to an open area. He saw thousands of people's mixed in confusion. The guards drew them back. At the end of the open area Vurion awaited him with a flaming sword in his hand. Vurion was in a good mood , because he would chop off a mage's head. The sun has dissapeared behind the castle and a red glow was visible in the sky. Vurion eyes were twinkling with dark joy. He said to the people's :" today is the day , the day of the magicians death. I will cut off his head and throw it over the castle wall!" 

The peoples started shouting :" kill him , kill him , kill the murderer. 

"Bring the murderer here so his head can be cut off !"Vurion command. Rulon was brought handcuffed in front of Vurion. 

"People back , up give the lord enough space to do it !" a guard said. 

Vurion raised his sword with both hands to bring it down with great force on the mage's neck. At that moment the ground began to shake violently. The sky darkened and turned black. 

From heaven came a voice calling :"drop your sword Vurion , don't dear to kill the magician ,I command , the magic ring "

It began to rain. The people's panicked and ran away. 

Vurion looked around and saw the running men and womens. For a moment he had forgotten Rulon. The warriors of the dragon-eye take their flaming swords and where ready to cut down any magician. The ground shook harder and it exploded. Luminous water spurted into the sky. A hole had appeared in the ground. The warriors rushed towards the luminous water pilar , with Vurion leading the way. The ring with the blue stone appeared in the pillar of luminous water. The light of the silver ring was so strong that it hurts your eyes. Lightning flashes from the blue stone and the warriors crashed to the ground , screaming. Some of them were death (killed by lightning flashes ). The pillar of luminous water swallowed some warriors and they never returned. More and more warriors came from Vurion and one by one they where struck by lightning bolts. It was thundering and raining violently. The ring floated out of the pilar of liminous water and approached Rulon. 

Rulon was blinded by the light of the silver ring and he covered his eyes with his hand. 

"Come on ", the ring said ,"let's escape. There is no time for questions ".

Rulon got up and ran after the silver ring. The ring that free him from Vurion. He was indebted to the ring. At full speed he ran after his lifesaver.
