The Adventure

One day, I and my friends - Sanika, Emily and Evelyn went to trekking. We united after 5 years of college. Being in different cities and busy schedule, we couldn't meet each other. One day we decided to plan a trip so that we could meet each other. Finally a day was decided and we met at Matheran. Apart from their height and weight, they were the same stupid, like before. We went for lunch which was lip smacking. We took rest for sometime and went out in the evening. we saw some sunset point and echo point. While exploring around, Emily saw some fireflies and we tried to follow them. We went behind the insect and then after sometime, saw a tree glowing with fireflies. The sight was totally marvelous. These bioluminicent creatures were so beautiful! When we turned around, there was no sign of any road or something so that we could escape. This was the sign of that we were lost! Evelyn started getting nervous and scared. I told her to calm down. We tried to find a way but it was way too dark to find a way which could lead any road.

There was nothing but just the bamboo trees all around us. We were totally lost in a city completely unknown to us. Sanika was about to cry because she hated getting lost. We all told her to calm down. I assured her that we'll find a way to our room safely. We sat down thinking some way to escape when we heard clouds thundering. Suddenly it started to rain heavily. We quickly tried to find something that would save us from getting drenched in the rain. At distance we could see a small bulb glowing. We quickly went inside the house. It looked kind of haunted but who cares when it rains. It was an old bungalow in which there we stairs which led to upper floor. We couldn't see anything so we started to figure out what was around as.

While looking around, I accidentally bumped into something and it fell down. Emily suddenly remembered that she had a torch in her backpack. We all started scolding her why she didn't gave her that before! She turned the torch on to see what fell down, and to our horror it was a skull !! We started running here and there when we saw a whole human skeleton hanging beside the main door. Everyone was terrified, but i never believed on ghosts, so later with the torch we were exploring the place where some green liquid fell down and it was smoke all around. The smoke smelled horrible and we couldn't see each other. The rain was very heavy and it was lightening. The door closed in a thud. with a creaky voice.

Now everyone was scared. The torch suddenly went off. The lightening stuck and we heard someone screaming horribly. The person screamed as if it was getting murdered. Evelyn started crying. I still didn't believe it was a ghost. I took the torch and saw who was screaming. Suddenly we saw a white coat coming towards us. Sanika tried to open the door but it didn't. The angry voice talked to us and asked us who we were and what we wanted.

I said in a low tone that we lost our way. Suddenly the lights were on and to our surprise, the white coat was actually a dentist. There were skulls all around. We asked why there were skulls. He said it was decoration, we asked about the screaming and he said that he was operating and the patient was screaming. We told how we assumed him as a ghost and how we lost. It was a funny moment. He told us the way to get out and we reached safely. Oh! How thrilling day it was.
