The Adventure of Hopkin Chopps

I've never wondered how beautiful is the nature or how deep are the fangs of it. While thinking about its nature, I've went deep into the study of ancient creatures and I think that people could not have thought of so deadly or charming some animals were.

When we talk that giraffe is the tallest animal or blue whale to be the largest animal, we are completely mistaken as we do not know that there were even some more giant creatures, which ever existed on Earth and how unbelieving was the size of those creatures.

My name is Hopkin Chopps and I preserve a secret within myself. I've made studies of physics and paleontology and the secret I'm going to talk about will blow up your brains.

I'm trying to make such a device, which we usually call a time machine. I was working heavily on it.

I uploaded Blogs on my website and gave the world the information that they should have.

From the ancient Ichthyosaur to Titanosaur , all have reigned on this planet and the thoughts fascinated if I would see them in reality.

Then, finally a day came when my work was over, on the machine I've talked about. The machine was kept in a secret room beneath my library. And I'll test it, I thought.

So, that vile day, I wanted to complete my work fast, but a fossil was brought forth me, to study it.

"Just found sir, Jim told me to send it to you." said the messenger and left my room.

It was a queer bone a single broken piece and it's content almost damaged. By looking at it, I guessed it to be around some 500,000 to 1 million years ago. The broken piece was a bone of the fingers. If it would meet its real part, the real part would be in a ratio of almost 27:1 to the bone.

I found that the bone was interesting and I thought to carbon date it the next day. With a feeling of plumpiness ,I rode back home.

The idea of being the first human to time travel was making me feel proud. On the other hand, I was thinking about the dangers, and people coming to kill me and take the device away, but till I do not disclose it, how will the other people know?

It was 9pm at the clock when I'd completed my dinner, given leave to the maids, brought the guards for the duty and everything covered up when I began for the library.

My library was a big one, with parallel shelves and a set of tables and chairs on the right side. On the left corner was a basement which contained it.

With every step I was taking in that direction fear was besieging my happiness . What would happen if I never returned? I stopped at the very entrance of the trapdoor. Should I go? Or should I not go? My feet started shaking out of fear and a feeling of evil omen occurred to me that something was wrong.

I could not withstand the feeling and I moved a step backwards but some unknown unressistable force dragged me into my secret basement. The force was so strong that i nearly broke my neck when I fell over into the basement.

I was lying unconscious over the floor, and for how much time, I do not know?

I woke up sensing tremendous pain in my left arm, seeming to be fractured. As I stood up, a ray speeder than light, started getting emmited from my device. When I went near to it the rays got focussed onto me and I .

I was feeling that my brain was shaking and my nerves blasting inside. My skin tearing out and muscles crying as if a force of 1 million Newtons was being exerted from my being.

slowly it was getting more powerful and more speed and then at last the ray vanished leaving me drop on the floor like a man who has no right to his life and unconsciousness is best remedy.

I woke up and to my surprise I was in midst of a jungle. But, when I saw the size of the trees, I was horrified.

They were those trees which existed on earth around the end of the Triassic period average height of 200 metres. I was just glancing around me when I heard a cry of a human.

"Human and in this era! How?"was my question at that moment, but then I saw a horde of people coming along the way. They had an appearance of barbarians while the head of look like a Gladiator spearman.

"Ullu lu lilu lailo."ride ahead and they moved along when I was hiding.

Then I realised that I had not time travelled I had slipped into a parallel universe. I had my own hypothesis which I suited to universal slip.

according to the hypothesis of mine " Universal slip is a natural is yet rare phenomena which leads the person upon which the slip acts to directly travel into a parallel universe in a femtosecond."

the time unit was used because I thought it was one of the smallest one and most accurate to take.

Now I was on my wits end what to do. either I could move away from here or I could sit here and wait for some passers by to help me. Of these two I choose the former one and started traveling in the direction in which the Barbarian had gone.

The smallest of grass were of an average 3 to 4 meters of height.

I was thinking of the dangerous dinosaurs who must be here if I was correct.

Then suddenly I thought that a film shooting must be going on. Who knows what was going on? Taking my hypothesis I still walked and walked. In my 2 hours of walk(I had my watch with me), I only crossed seven trees.

What do you think! In this generation we could cross 200 trees in just a minute and here only seven trees in that too in 2 hours.

By the instigation of the third hour ,I was feeling sleepy and thirst was quenching me so I thought to rest. The atmosphere was getting dark and for what we call night, was coming.

under a hole in one of those trees I collected a small broken piece of a leaf and then slept not thinking what was my future bringing for me. What surprises were contained in my next day?.I woke up the sun was shining over my face. Wait the sun was bigger and purple coloured? What! This was not Earth. I came out of the hole and to my surprise I was standing beside the feet of a titanosaurus.

He was busy eating grass from the trees. He could hardly see me. I then quietly slipped and started running and running.

at last I came out of the Jungle to see a new world ,the world which no more till I had seen on Earth.

there were camps of people on my right and on my left where Argentinosaurus and spinosaurus locked in huge cages.

I walked slowly to the camp and peeped in. There was no one. Suddenly I turned back to see a man wearing a dress which resembles a Viking on Earth.

I asked,"Who are you?"

He said,"I'm fine."

The moment I heard English off his tongue I was surprised. I did not know what to speak. I was speechless. But recovering my sense I asked,

"Who caged his dinosaurs?"

"We. Our band."

"Your band?"

"Yes. Our band."

"But how do you have such huge creatures?"

"It is easy."

"How?"

"We leave them hungry and feed them slowly. They then understand us as their masters."

"So they don't rebel?"

"No."

"What do you do with them?"

"We organize fights."

"Fights?"

"Yes. Dinosaur fights."

"What?"

"Have you never seen such a fight?"

"No!"

"Come then. Today is a fight of a Titanoboa and Ichthyosaur."

Titanoboa and Ichthyosaur was were both giant creatures. But they were found in different ages as per paleontology. To see if the man was speaking truth or not I went with him.

We walked a considerable distance when a mob of people stood close to us.

"I'll Vlol Kolai ullul?"asked a man in a questioning tone.

"Derniden doslo Qui"said the man.

And we to were let in. My God, I never seen such a sight . There were lots of people all sitting in the Colosseum type building. It was a very large type of stadium with a very giant and shallow pool in between.

"They'll fight here?"

"Yes."

Many people were giving money. They were putting money on one of the 2 dinosaurs.

Up ahead, I saw a large board where some unique alphabets were written and below that English was written.

It was written— Titanoboa 30,000 and Ichthyosaur 32,000.

It was a game of gambling and I was seeing that people were really enjoying it.

I was also very curious as a paleontologist to see a Titanoboa and a Ichthyosaur which was probably the largest water animal that ever existed on Earth.

What do you think, who will win?......The state for both was going high and lastly stopped at 94040 titanoboa and 90000 for the Ichthyosaur.

The whole of audience was shouting and very eager to see the fight and everyone except me was thinking of the favourite creature to win and then the cage on one side opened.

I had never seen a sight such as this. There was a titanoboa of a length around 50 metres long and was five times more thicker than anaconda. It hissed ,looked upon the ground and enter the water.

From the other side came a cage, water-filled and packed from below but visible from outside.

From the water emerged a snout. The Ichthyosaur was there. So large was it!

It was kept high and timer was set for 5 minutes. Only 5 minutes of fight! But the fight will be interesting.

All the people were shouting when the Ichthyosaur was left in water and the timer began.

The titanoboa was saving itself from the beak of the Ichthyosaur. On the other hand, the Ichthyosaur was keeping an eye on the movement of Titanoboa.

There was a splash and the Ichthyosaur had caught the titanoboa but the Ichthyosaur for a striking tail and the grip failed.

The fight was getting interesting. Both where trying to get an upper hand upon the other but failed.

Now, the titanoboa swam swift, caught the body of the giant reptile and began swirling around when the Ichthyosaur caught it with its beak and threw it back into the water. This was a death saving move.

But half the time was over and the public was getting anxious and in another moment there was a silence.

Ichthyosaur had gone deep into the water and caught the titanoboa at its tail and the titanoboa had swirled around the Ichthyosaur. This would tell us who will win.

I had strongly suggested that Ichthyosaur would win the match, but here both of them were at their extreme stages and people were silent as to see the result.

The result however did not come. The Ichthyosaur pulled up the serpent by his tail and threw it against the cage outside the water.

Only one minute left now. A total of 60 seconds.

The titanoboa then did what no creature could have thought. I was astonished to see the brain of a Titanoboa going so speed.

The titanoboa swirled around the beak of the Ichthyosaur and crushed it and then it came round the whole body breaking every bone into pieces.

The crowd shouted at this gigantic move. The supporters of the titanoboa were very heavy at this. They got their money back but the supporters of Ichthyosaur looked gravely at its dead body and mourned the death of one of their favourite creatures.

But the titanoboa too was injured much.

"Run! Run! Run!"shouted the crowd suddenly.

"What happened?"asked I seeing my friend.

"The danger has come my friend!"said the man.

"What danger?"

"The Archeopteryx."

"That small bird?!"

"Small? Are you mad? Look above."

I was astonished.the bird flying up was ten times more larger than a hawk. The buildup was like a hawk but it had no feathers.

We had to run because there was no means of taking or controlling the giant Bird.

As per paleontology, the bird must be smaller than a T-Rex but it was huge and enormous.

We had run a considerable distance when the bird had vanished over our heads. But there was something another. There was a spinosaurus standing in front of us.and the worst thing was that he was looking at us and probably thinking of a hearty meal.

"Run friend or will be despaired of lives."

And we started the marathon against such a creature who was just 20 times bigger than ourselves.

Our stamina soon exhausted but the fright of the spinosaurus, which was just behind us through our stamina to the ultimate level.

We came running in running when we entered a small pit below us. The spinosaurus could do nothing. It was too small even for his hand.

Just then we felt some tremors and earthquake I presumed. But it was growing second by second when we saw a group of ornithomimids running above us and the steps of their left a huge impact for us.

But the spinosaurus was still there waiting for us to come out.

The spinosaurus screeched at us and tried to dig towards and did many more attempts but failed.

"Now, what will we do?"asked I .

"I'm feeling hungry."said the friend.

"Me too. But—"

"Food?"

"Yes. Where will we get the food from?"

"That is also a major problem."

It was almost dusk and twilight when the spinosaurus for bored off and moved away.

We came out hurriedly and ran to my friend's camp. There I was introduce to 30 people of the tribe.

"You came here by a machine."asked the chief.

"Yes, as I told you all." I answered.

"Hmm!I see.. How will you go now?"

"That is the problem."

"Why?"

"I do not know how to go home."

"A grave issue."

"Yes sir."

"You can spend the life with us?"

"Whole life?!"

"Yes?"

"I'll have to. Because I have no methods to get back home."

And I started gazing at the Argentinosaurus whom they had tamed.

"How huge!!"thought I.

The next morning I was wondering what to do next when I saw something that I wish to see all my life.

There was a spinosaurus and against him was standing at the Tryannosauraus . They both were the brutal enemies of each other.

Who would win the fight? I had always thought of this is a paleontologist !.

The spinosaurus was moving squarely and the Tryannosauraus was waiting for the right moment but the titanoboa just arrived at the scene. I was amazed at this conjunction. Furthermore, Archeopteryx too joined in the next moment.

The clash would be brutal and amazing. Four top enemies against each other in one match.

It was like Goldberg, Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns and Undertaker in a four way match.

The Tryannosauraus was undefeatable and spinosaurus was confident. The titanoboa was self-reliant and the Archeopteryx was self-dependent. 

The Archeopteryx was the first one to attack the snake titanoboa who was it's enemy and prey. The Tryannosauraus ran behind the spinosaurus when he tried to get an upper hand.

The titanoboa had caught the spinosaurus but the Archeopteryx had caught him and threw across the Tryannosauraus clutched the bird and killed it. The Archeopteryx was dead but the Titanoboa was running speedily towards the spinosaurus but spinosaurus clutched the giant serpent in his beak and killed it.

Now, two of them, the most powerful were left. Tryannosauraus was staring at the spinosaurus while the spinosaurus was trying to deflect the Tryannosauraus.

The Tryannosauraus screeched and cried as if he was very much angry and the spinosaurus understood his anger and then, he jumped straight into a pool of water.

The Tryannosauraus understood the special move and stood as he was standing.

The spinosaurus for out but the Titanoboa had gained life again and clutched Tryannosauraus by the time and the spinosaurus was killed by the Archeopteryx. What and then the titanoboa caught a flight and hit the bird and crushed it into the ground.

"Sir! Sir!" I heard a voice and my whole body started hovering and rattling.

"Wake up sir!" Said a voice.

I opened my eyes to see my bedroom and my servent beside me 

"Oh! Where is the T-Rex?"

"T-Rex?"

"Yes , the Archeopteryx, the titanoboa where are they?"

" You must have seen a dream. I just came to give you your morning coffee sir! Good day ahead sir." Said the servent and left the room. "Impossible! Was that a dream? Oh man!"

And that dream always makes me laugh when I remember it because it was just an impossible dream.
