I Knew!

I Knew!

"Sad news always comes with greater velocity than good news," said Jim," but it is always of importance to keep your mind stable and out of all the disruption occurring all around. It will never stop."

Jim was a psychiatrist and was lecturing me on the topic of peace of mind. But I don't think he was in a mood to do so. His head thrust to and fro, his face was pale and lips bloodless. But he continued," It is not necessary for a human being( he coughed hardly here) to take all the happenings to his brain. Only essential things are required."

Life of Jim had been a dull one. His parents, as I know, died in an accident when he was 3 years old. He was then brought up by his sweet aunt and drunkard uncle. He ran away from the house to seek a job. He got a good job at a shop and then he pursued his stream.

" Jim, I wanted to tell you something!" I said.

"Yes!"

"Who gave you the job when you ran away from your uncle's home?"

He grinned. "I forgot to tell you one thing. Jim is dead. And I am the son of that man who gave him the job. My father died with Jim when Jim was thirteen."

I was dumbstruck. I had no words to speak thereafter.
