Terror Ch 2

They couldn't believe their eyes. Their lovely daughter is lying lifeless and brutally harmed.

Her mother dropped to her knees. "Sara..." She fainted.

"Sarah.. Sarah.." 

"Have some water."

"My baby.. my baby... Zen, this can't be real. This isn't happening. I need to see her. "

"Wait, Asma... Her body is at the hospital for postmortem. We all are suspects too. "

"Body?? That's my daughter Zen." 

"Mine too. Get hold of yourself. She is no more " Zen raised his voice and then started sobbing. 

Asma hugged him and started sobbing loudly.

"Our daughter is gone. They killed her. They did. I told you."

"Did you get any evidence? Who killed my daughter? I will kill them." Asma charged at the police.

"Ma'am please have patience. We are looking into it.

And you all are suspects too and not yet ruled out. "

"How can I ever..?"

"We are not sure Ma'am. Anything can happen. Please let us do our thing. "

"What? Drugs? Sarah would never do that."

"Mr. Mallick, the report says so. Maybe you guys were not aware."

"No. She can't ever do this. She is a doctor, why would she?"

"Doctors have easy access to drugs Sir. See."

Zen checked the reports. "Th..this can't be."

"Yes Sir. She was pregnant too."

3 months. I assume she knew.

But as a doctor, she could have aborted it. But she didn't. And considering that she wanted the baby, why would she do drugs, she clearly knows its impact on her baby. Any idea who is the father?"

"There was this guy she was dating. We never approved of him. We had fights about that too. But she loved him a lot to let him go. We never used to like the guy."
