Ed And Em EPISODE-1

"Ed. You better come downstairs"

Emma could barely open her eyes when she heard her neighbour shouting.

She buried her head in a pillow.

"Edwarddd.. you better come down".

"Are you kidding me? It's just 9:00 clock. Why the hell they are screaming?"

She peeped out of the window behind her bed with half-open eyes. 

A guy in the next house was climbing the window next door.

Omg. Burglar.

Emma screamed as loud as she could.

The lady saw Emma pointing towards her house. 

She looked up and could see Edward climbing up the tree connected to the window.

Emma rushed downstairs with messed up hair and a bloated face.

"There is a thief. I'll call the police"

"I don't think so. He ain't a thief. That's my son Edward entering his room like a thief. Btw I am Mary Johnsons."

"Good morning Mrs Johnson. I am Emma

Actually, I moved in next door yesterday. "

Texas was new for Emma. She is a New Jersey girl and Texas was completely different for her.

She has never seen houses with so big yards, people owning horses and some people actually wearing cowboy hats.

"Sorry for the trouble. Ed is trouble. Anyway, how about a welcoming present from us? Please join us for breakfast today. I am making some bacon and eggs"

Emma nodded and smiled. She has never received such warmth in NJ. After losing her parent in an accident, she has mostly been alone. Not to forget, her abusive boyfriend who made it more miserable for her.

After her degree, she decided to join a private farm in Texas and to live a different life.
