Sita.

With no offence to anyone's feelings or sacredness or beliefs or religion. Why is the character of Sita shown to be so selfless, understanding, adjustable and so on? Does the responsibility of a relationship lie only on a wife's shoulder?

A TV channel is airing. Sita is asked to leave the palace and live in exile again for fourteen years just because she was being taken away by an unknown man Ravana. Her husband doesn't believe her but his so-called Praja, the common people whom he has never met but he has to obey them. Sita questions, why did you marry me if you had to put your people over everything else? 'Maryada Purusshottam Rama', is that the valour of a prince? The sacred person to doubt his selfless wife?

Sita refuses to go to exile and stays in the palace. Everyone in the royal family opposes her but her husband Rama stands with her. He patiently listens to what she has to say.

Instead of taking his brother along and wasting his precious years in finding a person, he orders his soldiers to find out who is Ravana and asks them to search for him. After about some five years, he gets to meet Ravana. He questions him about his inhuman dead.

He organises a judgement day and declares him to be hanged till death. Everyone in Ayodhya is happy and gay. Everyone praises both Rama and Sita forever. Thus comes the last episode of the serial titled," What if Sita didn't agree?".
