Simple Joys Of Life

In a lovely village, there lived a poor couple who had a good daughter named Inchara. Inchara was a diligent girl. She helped her parents in agricultural work on their one-acre plot, which barely made ends meet. But Inchara did not mind and happily went about her work. In the evening, she studied hard for her S.S.L.C exams.

She did not attend school since she had to help her mother with household chores. So she applied for the exam after turning 15 years old and was accepted after taking a test. She had attended school until the seventh standard and was familiar with all her teachers, who presently helped her study at home. She enjoyed studying immensely, and this made her teachers praise her. They quoted her as an example to other students.

Soon it was Inchara's birthday, and she was very happy to receive her dress—a modest long skirt and a matching blouse. She got up early in the morning and visited Shiva's temple to receive the blessings of the almighty lord. After visiting the temple, she felt contented and happy as never before. , even though she aimed high by studying earnestly, she did not forget the simple joys that life offered and set an example for others who thought and worried as if the sky had fallen on them.
