She Was Special

She was very fair and beautiful,

a small young girl of her father,

Very innocent she was ,

Couldn't speak but mute not dumb ,

as she was intelligent,

She had a cute puppy with her,

Whom she could talk,

She didn't like sympathy,

She had no friends,

except her puppy dog to play,

And her dad was her everything.

Mariya was her name. Her father Mr. Fernandez had a very big farm and gardens where pulpy fruits like Mango, strawberry, Grapes, Oranges, blackberry were grown. As he had a small business of making Jams and Juices. Also, he had people to look after his business and farm.

Mr. And Mrs. Fernandez were a happy couple when they bought this huge place in the outskirts of the city. Where they built their house and slowly they developed their farm and fruit tree gardens which were already there. 

Both were very hard working, used to work the whole day on-farm and the business they had developed bits by bits. After two years of coming to a new place, Mr. and Mrs. Fernandez were blessed with a cute little baby girl. Both were very happy. But there was some complication developed with Mrs. Fernandez after her delivery. 

Most of the time she was ill. She became weak. But she had to look after the baby, Mariya. She could not help her husband at work as she used to remain at home. So they hired some local people to help in their business and Mr. Fernandez used to help his wife in cooking and other household work and in looking after Mariya. 

Mariya was a very beautiful and very understanding child. As she grew she used to play with her teddy bear and one puppy her father had brought for her. A white cute puppy of dog. Mariya used to play with it. 

Mariya learned to talk a few words and small sentences. Her Mom used to stitch nice frocks and used to look after her well but gradually her health started deteriorating. They consulted doctors, but the medicine didn't help her much and one day she left this world. Mariya was merely 3 yrs. at that time.

But when she realized that her dear mom has left her forever she became silent, as she was very much attached to her Mom. She lost her speech. Her dad tried many ways to make her speak but it was all in vain. Till then she used to not play with her other friends as she could not speak. So her friends used to make fun of her or some used to show sympathy, which Mariya didn't like.

But her bonding with her dad became more strong. And her relationship with her puppy was the same as before because the puppy never used to leave her alone, it could understand her language of silence and became her support.

Mariya was trying to be normal and learning to be happy with the support and love of her dad and with help of her companion and friend her puppy.
