Sentiments

It has been ten years since I started working - I can still recollect in minute detail the first day of my job, my first travel abroad to the Headquarters and all the incredibly talented and kind people with who I had the privilege to work. The numerous travel opportunities across the globe during the several wonderful years that followed contributed to my personal and profound growth profusely. 

Today, I took a few steps back and reminisced the day I cleared the interview for the first job. It was indeed a very special day - my parents' wedding anniversary. That night, as my parents, my sister and I had our family dinner in a very popular Andhra Cuisines Restaurant, we celebrated the anniversary and my interview success. My family was so happy for me and blessed me with their love and support. 

There is a special sentiment I strongly believe in. Whenever an opportunity comes my way on the most special days of my life such as my mother's birthday, my parent's wedding anniversary, my father's birthday and my sister's birthday, I know deep within that it will bring me immense joy and tremendous prosperity. I just trust it. 

Today, I know that my first job not only gave me the best start and a solid foundation for my career but hugely transformed how I approached work itself. 

What a dream job which the heart truly desires shall manifest itself in the most beautiful ways, through the right people at the right time. My first job gives me that faith. Time and again.

In fact, the three lovely people - my guardian angels who encouraged me to take up that interview are my mother, sister and father. It was they who gave me the courage to give up other offers and take up what is right for me.

I am so blessed that almighty chose to align it all so well: My first job interview on my parents' anniversary.
