Rootes Are Much More Beautiful Than Trees

People admired the giant banyan tree standing in the center of the village. Its wide branches gave shade to travelers, birds built nests on it, and children played around it every day.
Everyone praised the tree for its beauty and strength. But no one ever talked about its roots.
The roots were hidden deep underground. They received no attention, no compliments, and no applause. Yet they worked silently day and night, holding the tree steady during storms and carrying water and nutrients from the soil.
One year, a powerful storm hit the village. Many trees fell, but the banyan tree remained standing. The villagers called it a miracle.
An old gardener smiled and said, "The tree is strong because its roots are strong."
That day, a young boy understood an important lesson. Success, talent, and achievements are like the visible branches of a tree. But hard work, patience, sacrifices, and values are the roots that nobody sees.
