Reconnecting With Nature

Dear Diary,

Day 4: Today as I went for a leisurely walk in the terrace after lunch, the sight of these Adenium flowers felt so soothing to the eyes. Living in an urban jungle, I seldom get a chance to appreciate the virtues of nature. Now that I am almost trapped in my home, these beauties are bringing in a lot of positivity breaking all the monotony. Ma had planted this many years back and every year around this springtime it bears flowers in full bloom, much more than any other time of the year. These flowers have Tulsi plant for the company as it has strangely encircled the Adenium, growing on the same soil. The concept of social distancing that we are bound to follow now in order to protect lives and the existence of our human race seems alien to these beings who are inhabiting as a family.
