Escapade

Dear Diary,

Day 21: Browsing through my phone gallery, I came across this photograph from last year in June when we were in Sikkim. I took this particular shot while moving by road. It was drizzling since the morning, but as the day passed, it all brighten up once again. Mountains are always my preferred travel desrination. It's hard to describe in words the kind of tranquility it offers to my soul. I feel lost and familiar at the same time there. However, last year it was my firstmonsoon in the mountains kind of experience. Needless to say, it was ethereal. Although one might argue, it's not the ideal time to go to the mountains. But, given a chance, I want to go there once again when the precipitation occurs. Don't know when again this wish will be fulfilled.
