Redolence

Dear Diary,

Day 19:

These crepe jasmine flowers blooming in the home balcony bears a certain redolence. In this hour of extreme despair, when the whole world is fighting to combat this dreadful COVID-19 and in our state of West Bengal, India the lockdown period has been extended until 30th April 2020, everybody is directionless as to what to do next. With each passing day, it is becoming extremely difficult to cope up with the situation. In this windy evening, with the sound of conch shells blown from the neighborhood houses, these flowers blooming provide solace through their sight and fragrance.
