Masked Reality

Dear Diary,

Day 17: The wearing mask is the new normalcy across the globe. Whenever there is a necessity to step out of home, wearing masks has become indispensable. Due to the extreme shortage of masks and other PPEs for the medical fraternity, it is better if we can reuse the masks by washing and disinfecting them properly followed by sun drying. However, the best remedy would be to make a mask out of a piece of cloth. It was rather weird to see all passers-by and fellow shoppers wearing masks in the marketplace and roads. It seems everyone is playing hide and seek underneath the masks. Familiar faces have become unrecognizable. We are living in stranger times where hiding is the norm for sustenance.
