An eerie silence fell upon the overcast sky. The clouds were filled with despair and swollen with tears. Her great old cycle creaked and swished until it stopped. A series of stairs followed inside an abandoned railway station. She got off the cycle and softly pressed down the kickstand against the ground. She climbed up the stairs and stopped at the last one. She looked back one last time at her old cycle, a great companion during all her years of adventure. She glanced gently at the peculiar glass doors that lead to the entrance of platform number 8. The door, covered with cobwebs creaked open with a slight push of her foot against the door. She walked in and stood still; her head filled with sad thoughts about her dead father.

The sound of breaking glass brimmed in her ears and she felt a sharp pain in her left leg. The lights started flickering and blurred her vision. Suddenly, a man gulping down a big bottle of alcohol filled her eyes. The sound of breaking glass stopped and the pain in her leg ceased. She could no longer see the man and soon, she could no longer see anything.

She woke up with a gasp, unable to move her body. She lay on the ground with merely her eyes open. She looked at her hands and legs. She was a doll.
