Old Is Indeed Gold!!

From the “Old” I mean here is old songs..

There’s something magical in the music, songs, voice from an old era..

From Kishore Kumar sir to Mukesh sir to R D Burman sir to Lata Mangeshkar ma’am and Asha Bhosle ma’am and many more such legendary personalities, these are all the veteran singers and the magicians in their own sense..

The reason I love old songs is because they had that connection that can directly hit a soul..

No matter how many times I listen to those songs, they still sound fresh and energetic to me..

Whenever I see Rajesh Khanna sir singing “Mere Sapno ki Rani” I used to see myself there dreaming about my dream girl, although I don’t have one (lol), but you see that’s what magic and connection is..

I used to feel sentimental whenever I see Rajesh Khanna sir in “Kahi dur jab din dhal jaaye”. I used to feel energetic watching Shammi Kapoor sir’s dancing moves and their songs like “Yeh chaand sa roshan chehra”, “O Haseena zulfo wali” and many more such songs..

So, you know it’s not about criticising the new songs or artists but the fact is still that the old songs are just flawless..

Call me boring, uncool or anything but for me old songs will always be the best because they make me feel happy and it’s just a soul connection..

So I am just a younger generation person still holding on to the best there was, the best there is and the best there will be..

“Old” they say “Gold” is what I hear to it!!
