I woke up one morning to find my cat, Mr. Whiskers, not only learned how to speak but was also demanding a divorce.

I work from 9 am to 5 pm as a corporate employee, and from 5 pm to 10 pm, I work a side gig. I am always busy.

So when my parents asked me, why am I not getting married since I am getting old.And I might die all alone, on the very sofa without any family , rotting like a orphan corpse, swallowed by my self pity, without anyone to talk to. I brought a cat home with me. There you go a small and happy family.

But when I woke up this morning, my cat, Mr. Whiskers, was talking. And not only talking, he was complaning, about how I leave him alone for so many hours on a day.

He said, " you mere human how dare you insult me, I am the king of the whisker and tails royal cats association. I demand respect. I have been tolerating your cuddling whenever you see fit. Your a thorn in my hat of honour. I demand a divorce with you and 1 kg. fish per day as alumni. "

Hold on, I always feed him and bought him fishy the plushy toy that he makes googly eyes all the time at. I even pat him whenever mr. King feels like it. Now what? What did I do?Did I not give him enough pampering?

Or it must be the neighbours cat laila, I'm sure of it. Whenever she gives him a look, Mr. Whiskers starts puffing his muscles.

He's leaving me for another female. That's definitely not acceptable.I caught him by the caller and threw him out the window. No cheating is allowed in my house.

This time I'll get a dog. A happy, small family, indeed.
