It was a bright morning at the borders of Kashmir. It was a blessing for Mr. Colonel as he loved sun. He got up early at 4, did some exercise and sat down to drink his favorite Darjeeling tea. He bought it from the canteen and was sat in front of the border sipping tea like a middle aged man. He took his first sip when a bullet pierced into his chest. He collapsed onto the ground with a thud, when the firing of bullets immensely started. He couldn't hear anything except a buzzing sound. He could remember was his son, he was recollecting their happy memories and thought that the his time was over when he was picked up took to the infirmary. Luckily nothing much happened to him as they always keep their bulletproof jackets on.

It was just the pressure of the bullet which injured him. He stood up and rushed towards the barracks, this was a golden opportunity for him to serve for the nation. He discussed the strategy and prepared to counter attack. His junior leaders lead a group of 20 soldiers. They all marched towards the border crawling amidst such difficult circumstances. They hid in the secret bunker built near the border. The Colonel ordered to fire missiles, but it was too late. Their missile launcher were already destroyed, it was a mission impossible for the Colonel. He decided to fight without the missiles, but didn't want to give up until his death. The fired small missiles using handheld rocket projectors but it didn't help a lot. The soldiers were filled with bravery and attacked the powerful enemy only using some guns and grenades. The soldiers ran as fast as they could towards the enemy and started fighting.

The Colonel himself was fighting, he fired using his guns and didn't let any of his aim miss. There were 100 bullets in his gun and he used them as wisely as he could he ran out of ammo and had just a knife with it. But the enemy's kept multiplying. He found out a hidden tunnel through which the enemy soldiers came. He took his knife and ran towards the tunnel chopping anyone who tried stopping him and reached the tunnel. He made use of all his grenades except one which no wonder why he didn't use and threw them in the tunnel and the tunnel collapsed. The soldiers stopped multiplying, but as soon as he looked behind his men were all gone. It was him alone and the 350 enemy soldiers. He grabbed one of the dead enemies gun and started firing. It killed two of the enemies but he got shot in his chest. This time the bullet pierced through his jacket. Surprisingly after this shot the brave Colonel surrendered.

The enemy soldiers and their head commander approached the Colonel. The commander placed his foot on the colonel's head laughing at him and his nation, when there was a blast! Dust and soot all around, the other enemy soldiers approached at the site and found their commander and the Colonel death. Now I get why he kept a grenade with him. Just after a blast missiles were fired into the air. The backup team had arrived with new rocket launchers. The colonel's bravery made his nation victorious in the war.
