Monstrous Sarang - 7

Author's POV

Rayon's eyes were glowing in golden colour with a crimson red layer  around the pupil.

Before recognizing him Natasha got unconscious and fell down in his embrace.

Rayon eyed all around and growled at the rogue wolves. ( wolves which don't have a pack / aren't a member of a pack to live are known as rogue wolves)The rogue wolves stepped back a little and sneered slowly not knowing whom they're facing. Though they were shook by just his growl his pupils caused them to gulp in fear. Someone in between them mumbled ever so slowly. 

"The Dark eyed Devil," 

" Who are you?! " Rayon growled.

The wolves were startled by Rayon who looked really furious. They ran back to the woods in order to survive from the ' Dark eyed Devil '

Soon Tenison rushed there and gasped at the sight of Rayon's reddened eyes. He hesitated a little but soon Rayon turned towards him and handed Natasha.

" Make sure to drop her in her home. Rather than me no one should get near her. " he gritted his teeth. 

"Arasso (got it), Rayon ! Try to be calm. I'll inform Jackson to pick you up. Don't go anywhere, Rayon! Please be here! " Tension pleaded knowing very well about his own brother. Rayon nodded. 

" I'll try. " 

Tension looked sad but nevertheless left the place with Natasha hurrying to her home. Rayon remained there for a few minutes trying hard to be calm. But his heart raced faster and faster than a racer car's engine could. He then rushed to the woods and ran at a lightning speed in the blink of an eye. With in a few minutes Jackson rushed there breathlessly yelling his name, but Rayon wasn't there to hear him.

Rayon's unbearable growl echoed from the forest and made Jackson shiver. He mind linked someone and informed the situation about Rayon running after him.

' Father! I need you here right at the moment! Rayon's out of control! ' Jackson hurried after his little brother when he was soon met with a young man who looked a lot like Rayon with bright white hair.

He had bright grey eyes with cherry plumb lips. He was taller than Jackson and looked more mature.

" I'll go after him. " He said before disappearing out of sight leaving Jackson behind.

Natasha's POV

Something covered my vision with a black blank space. Oh! they were my eyelids.

I tried to open it and I saw my brother who was arguing with someone. NO NOT SOMEONE That's ERIK! How did he come to my home ? Oh no, I think it's getting like a clash.

" Erik! " I yelled and they both looked at me startled. Erik's grey eyes shined when he blinked at me.

Daniel rushed towards me and I hugged him instantly, throwing myself into his arms. He was nervous and frightened. I could surely tell that by his racing heartbeat. 

" Relax, Dan. I'm alright. " I patted his back and looked at Erik who was looking at both of us with a strange look.

" I was scared, Natasha. I couldn't imagine a thought of losing you, sweetie. Why weren't you aware of your surroundings?? You were black out for 5 hours! " Dan looked at me with a sad face. 

_ Yaa, what did I do? I can't remember anything._ Natasha thought, chapping her lips to a thin line. 

" I'm sorry, Dan. I can't't remember anything. What had happened to me? Is there anything serious? " 

" Nothing serious, Princess. But you must have to be careful. You were attacked by some rogue wolves." Daniel said, seeming utterly sad. 

" What?!! Rogue wolves??? " I literally screamed.

" Relax, Natcha. It isn't a problem now. " Erik said softly to which Daniel gave him a look as if he was seeing an alien. Why does he look like that?!

" Dan, He is my friend Erik. Erik, this is my brother Daniel. You knew him right?? " Erik nodded.

All of a sudden Reena burst inside the room like a thunderbolt and threw herself over me. She hugged me tight where I was struggling to breathe like a duck. 

"Oh, little bunny!! I was so scared. What happened to you? Are you alright? Did you get hurt somewhere? Who the hell hurt my little sis !? I need to rip their head off right NOW!!" She mused with rage meanwhile killing the life out of me. 

" Yaaa, cool down, Reena. I'M ALL OKAY. NOW YOU'RE THE ONE WHO'S TRYING TO DRAG ME OUT OF BREATH!! " I yelled when both the males burst out in chuckles. 

Reena chuckled sheepishly, pulling herself away from me. Then she suddenly eyed Erik and recognised him soon. 

" Hey, little boy . I didn't expect you to be here. How do you know about Natasha ?" she smiled warmly at him.

" Haa, is this the same clumsy sister in law who tried to kill me out of breath a minute ago ? " I asked playfully to which Reena smiled again. 

"Sister in law ?? Did you address Ms Reena as your sister in law ? "  Erik asked. Daniel looked at me with furious eyes. Remember Daniel is still stubborn. He didn't tell me that they're official couples yet.

" Hehe, yeah. " I laughed nervously avoiding Daniel's looks.

"Didn't you tell me a wolf chose your human brother. Is that Ms Reena ? " he asked again.

" Yes I did, Erik. She is it. " I agreed and he looked somewhat shocked at Daniel's direction.

" Still you didn't give me an answer, little boy. " Reena pointed again.

_Why does she call him a little boy while he's already two time's taller than her?!!_ I thought rolling my eyes to myself.

" We are friends, Reena and– " I got cut off by Erik.

" We're classmates and now Natcha is my partner." This is Daniel's turn to look shocked towards Erik's direction. 

" That's great!  Finally my little bunny got a friend to tag along with her life! " Reena squealed, hugging me.  Daniel looked at him with a questioning look again. 

" Still you didn't tell me your full name, Mr, " Daniel inquired in a harsh tone as if he was some culprit in his custody. 

" Erik Taison, " Erik said and I interrupted.

" Kim! Kim Erik Taison. "

The trio looked at me with various looks. I didn't look at my brother and sister in law's direction as my eyes had been focused on Erik's grey one's.  Why didn't he tell him as Kim? Anyways I'm there to remind him. Erik sighed and stretched his hand to Daniel for a handshake. 

"I'm Kim Erik Taison. " Daniel shook his hand with his, " Daniel Dark, " Erik nodded. 

" I know sir. " 

Daniel looked somewhat annoyed and gritted his teeth. Erik transparently gasped and stumbled back 

" Dan, you are scaring him! " I yelled , he looked at me and turned his gaze towards Erik like symbolically asking him to answer.

" I-I came to hand a notebook to Natcha. There I saw Mr Teni– Mr Fransis with a fainted Natcha in his arms. I got her address from her mobile, Thus I came to know this place. " Erik looked down and said in a low voice.

Why is Daniel acting weird? He's scaring Erik by his cop attitude.  I nudged Reena and she turned to face me with the same questioning look on my brother. I signalled her to take Dan out whereas she nodded understanding. 

" Anyways nice to meet you, Kim Erik Taison. Stay here now, I'll be back in a few minutes. " Daniel himself went out without the approach of Reena. 

Reena looked at Erik, then she looked at the door, then she looked at me and again she looked back at Erik.

" That's fine, Erik. I'll look after him . Stay here with Natasha. " After a minute Reena went out, giving us some time alone. 

" Erik, come here, " I called him . He came near me without taking his eyes up from the floor.

" Erik, just look at me. I'll make sure to find the thing you lost on my floor. " I said sarcastically. He chuckled and tilted his head to look at me with a smile.  

Thanks to my humour and idiot mind anyways. I held his hand before bidding. 

 " Sorry "

I felt a different feeling while holding his hands. It makes me feel secure. But aren't I safe already?

" What for? " He asked, looking at me, which pulled me away from my thoughts.

" For my brother's behaviour and for the sake that he scared you. He's not usually like this, I think he might be stressed out from something which is bothering him.  Other than that he'll definitely like you." I squeezed his hand showing that I mean what I said.

" That's totally fine, Natcha. I'm not scared. He's supposed to act like that. You see, Could a brother imagine being still, seeing his sis being carried by a stranger? And after all he's a head cop. He would have so many things in his mind. Your state triggered everything that's it. Understand?" He gave a whole explanation with an example and asked me simply like nothing happened. 

Haa, he is somewhat definitely different.

" Yeah, yeah. My friend just got goosebumps on his body because of my big brother's scariest glare. Isn't it? " I asked seriously where he slightly hit my shoulder back as a response. 

" Promise me something, Erik. " I said suddenly..

" Stay with this smile always .You look so cute and even more handsome while smiling. " I said and his smile widened even more. He squeezed my hand softly gazing at me. 

" I'll promise if you promise me something that I need in return for my promise. " he said with a cute smile.

" Haaa, I would surely recommend you to a bank job. Anyways, Yeah what do you need?" I asked

" Just your smile " 

" What?! "

" Yeah, just your smile. " 

" I can't understand you, man?! " he chuckled.

" Just your smile, Natcha. A genuine smile. Whatever happens in your life, Whoever leave you or hurt you or even betray you, you need to have a genuine smile. Try to overcome everything and try to stand up on your feets to fight back to get what you want. You need to be happy. Just forget everything what happens and smile at it. Make yourself come out of those things. Live your own life like how you desired. I don't really have anyone other than you. I want you to smile and be happy always. Your smile makes me happy too. " 

This is the first time I saw Erik talking like this. His grey eyes had an emotion which was so– so–  I don't know. May be painful. 

" I promise you, Erik. " I said and he smiled again. But it was clearer and happier than before.

Is the thing which makes sure that I'm happy is that much to him?  I looked astonished as I couldn't open my mouth to say something else. 

I felt someone was watching us and I got a sight of teary eyed Daniel who just walked past my door.

What happened to Dan?

Rayon's POV

" Why can't I die! " 

His scream echoed all over the field boggling everyone's mind. I flinched, feeling a pang in my heart. His thunderous growls and roar shook all of their hearts in fear. 

He screamed again and again until he felt his tears were almost drained. He couldn't die. He couldn't even die when seeing his love die right in front of his eyes. He couldn't do anything other than screaming. 

The black void of sky was covered with a heavy dark cloud showering with unstoppable rain along thunderstorms. 

" You can't die . She died just to save you from the impact , Rayon! Please understand that she's gone. She used her protection spell to protect you beside her. In spite her wish and the spell you can't die "

I clenched my fist I felt my heart getting harder hearing those words. 

" Why am I still alive?! Why do I've to be alive?! I'm a sin! I'm at fault! I want to die! I just killed her! I just killed her!" He screamed in agony. Everyone stayed away from the lane as they weren't that courageous to step near him at this state. He was fuming with blue flames around him. The fire encircled all around, nearly burning most of the dead bodies. 

But someone still stayed by his side. The voice came again. 

" Son , please! " The voice pleaded, unable to see him cry. 

" How could you tell me to stop , appa! My love is dead! She's gone and I'm the reason for her death! She's dead because of me! She died inorder to save me! Why did she do that to me?! " He growled, slamming his fist on the ground, causing the flames to rise to the sky even more. It was now like a wall between others and these two. 

" Because that's what love does. I can understand your love. You want to save her by giving your life. That's same goes for her. She also wanted you to live and the pay was  her life and you knew that she's the weapon. We can't do anything, son. " The voice tried again to console. But my veins began to freeze as I felt a burning pain all over my throat. 

" I can't agree with it, appa! I can't! I should've protected her! I should've died instead of her! Why did she do that to me?! How would I live here with that pain?! I was the one destined to die today! How would I live with that pain of her absence! How ? ", He break down in sobs. 

" I'm really sorry, son. I too don't have the answers. But please understand, you can't do anything to kill yourself as you're now surrounded by the live of your life's last death spell. She protected you by her last spell, sacrificing herself. You shouldn't do this. There's still time, Son. Get up. We've to do this. "  The voice echoed again and again in between the fuming fire and the scariest thunderstorms.

But what happened the next second wasn't what they expected to happen. He flew up with his enlarged wings stretched out while his eyes glowed in golden colour with a crimson layer. 

The burning pain through my throat shot upto my head as I felt like sweating. He let out a vigorous growl boggling everyone's heart causing it to dig it's own grave. 

" Daios " The voice whispered in shock. 

I shot up from my bed breathing heavily and instantly turned to a nearby mirror to be met with my golden and crimson layered eyes. 

" It's happening again. After what happened to her this evening, I didn't realise I was getting back. I didn't realise. It's happening again. " 

I faintly whispered to myself not getting over the fact that my eyes were here at the same state which was the beginning of all the sufferings in my life.
