Mansoon Wedding and Totka!!!

"It's Monsoon, anytime it can be a downpour, entire day's functions will be on tossed if there would be rain". 

Relatives were discussing and Nitya was listening as this was her husband's sister's wedding, the first wedding in family after her wedding.

She tried her best to arrange everything at the best but of course nature is not in her control so she can't stop rain if it arrives.

Still she was praying to God to go everything smoothly.

There were many totkas like keep the frying pan at terrace so rain can be stopped & many more.

"Agar Ghar ki Bahu Oolta petikot(inner which needs to wear under saree) pahne toh barish nhi hogi" someone suggested.

Whatever had been suggested, Nitya followed everything just to make the event successful & memorable.

In the flow, she wore Oolta Petikot for entire day & it may be totka which worked or nature's own call but there were no sign of raindrops for the entire day.

As the evening arrived, everything was settled & everybody was desperately waiting for Baraat. All were relaxed as weather was nice & no sign of rain found. Nitya too was relaxed and got ready in her wedding Lehanga.

Oops there was a catch, she forgot to wear Oolta Petikot.

The moment Baraat reached at the marriage garden gate, raindrops started. 

"Shit, I have changed the Petikot and thought everything would be fine now." She mused.

But now it was too late, before she could do anything, in few minutes it started raining heavily.

It was heavy rain for the entire night which ruined all decorations & arrangements.

Anyway, all rituals of the wedding were completed without any hitch & everybody enjoyed it too.

Still, Poor Nitya regrets and thinks, "I wish I wore Oolta Petikot for the rest of the time".
