Little Savings

Radhika was an independent and kind girl. Her expectations were very less, she always worshipped God for her family members happiness and for their good health, she had seen all the storms her parents have to go through, so she thought of taking responsibility on her shoulders and being independent to give her best in return to her parents, and with her efforts she made it possible, but the day came, as like other girls she got married and entered into a new life, but what was pulling her behind was the same thoughts of helping her parents, it was Not a sign that her parents were needy, but just as a son act to his parents, she expected the same thing as a daughter. . she had the same thought in her mind, but her in-laws was against this.

They started setting the boundaries which she never raised, she was burning like a fire, her heart started melting like ice. Her eyes couldn't stop flowing like a river. She knew though she has got married a good amount on every festival, occasion her parents will have to expend, which will surely come from their pockets, so if she contributed a little in monthly expenses on them what was wrong in that, how they had spent all their earnings on her to fill her dreams , she wanted them to save some a. ount to save for their future. . . And this time she clarified with her enlaws. . . . no one can stop me doing this, it's my right to help my parents she was firm and clear don't ask to change me, I have just just changed my surname but I still belong to my parents, my family and my roles and responsibilities remain the same. If you agree it's OK or else Goodbye forever. .

Her in-laws were surprised to see her attitude and the decision she took for her parents. As we accept a change with changing times, why people can't change their mindset, why they are still stuck to outdated thoughts??
