Let’s Not Demotivate

The criminality of corporal punishment is a hot debate. In any case, teachers should not use corporal punishment or any form of physical force that causes pain. Nowadays, students are regularly complaining that they are often beaten at schools for not completing classwork, not speaking in English, poor performance, bad handwriting, or other reasons. 

To consider the seriousness, the key objective of the school education system should be understanding theories, concepts, and processes. Then, it may be possible to substitute alternative activities when a student fails at something. Students and teachers are expected to observe all the activities and find out solutions accordingly, instead of resorting to corporal punishment. As a school prepares its students to face the challenges of the outer world, unfair practices like the use of corporal punishment should be avoided as it may demotivate students.
